I loooove banh mi and was lured by the 4.4 stars. Food was very meh, but the workers were nice. Banh mi - Tried the lemongrass chicken and the ham + pate classic. Didn't taste any lemongrass in the chicken and it was kind of stewed, tasteless, wet...?? The classic was okay. Noodle bowl - Ordered the miso tofu, which was just plain tofu deep fried, and then drizzled with a chili, miso, hoisin concoction. We ordered this for my daughter who doesn't love meat and was disappointed to find that it was quite spicy with no warning, so she couldn't eat it. Strawberry smoothie was okay. Meh. Is my lasting impression. :(

The service was very quick and friendly, but I thought the cold cut banh mi was really lacking in flavor. They were generous with the cold cuts, pate, mayo, pickled veggies, etc but I was quite disappointed with the flavor. Perhaps the way to go was the grilled meats, but even the jalapeno had the crunch and taste of a cucumber. I definitely smelled the pickled veggies but once I chomped on the sandwich I didn't really taste the pickledness or the sourness I was smelling. I came here because a 4.5 is quite a high rating, but I recommend going elsewhere for a more flavorful banh mi. Ambience: The store was clean and well lit.

I really liked the pate in the cold cut banh mi. They spread it on thick. I added a fried egg for an extra $2. The egg was well done (no runny yolk). $22 for the banh mi and Thai iced tea. Felt like the Thai iced tea was mostly ice so I'd probably ask for less ice if I ever order it again. I'd come back if I need a quick meal.

Went with my kiddos for lunch here. Ordered the Miso tofu Banh Mi as that was one of only two options available. Also got the vegetarian egg roll which was okay. Came out hot but wasn't that fresh as the sandwich. Our banh mi was really good, fresh ingredients, tofu was great and quite filling too. There is no outside seating and very limited inside seating. Service was good. I loved the plants they had inside specially the fiddle leaf fig tree that was teaming with so many leaves. I would love to know the secret from the owner for that, please!!!

Modern design. Fresh shrimp roll is fresh but sauce can be better. 5 spice beef can be more tasty & soft.

Today, I ordered the Spam and egg banh mi sandwich. I enjoyed eating the yummy sandwich. The service and the ambience were reasonable. I highly recommend this place if you want a quick meal to eat.

Solid option for lunch - quick, convenient, and straightforward. I got my sandwich to go here, and a friend picked it up, so I didn't get to see the store inside, but everything was nicely packaged, and they even gave us an extra box with jalapeños, as these do not come as a given with the banh mi. I noticed fewer meat options than your typical Vietnamese deli. My comparison points are the likes of Lee's and Duc HUONG sandwiches, which have 10+ sandwich options. One glaringly missing menu item that I'd typically expect to see was lemongrass beef or any type of beef for that matter. Nonetheless, the available options were tasty and varied enough to fit any taste/diet, including vegetarian/vegan options. I was hesitant to get a bowl, as the best part of a banh mi is the bread, but I would like to try a bowl one day. I'll definitely be back.

Great customer service. I had Michelle as a waitress, and she was very helpful in explaining the menu since it was the first time for me at Banh MI & Bowl. Fast service, food tasty.

Great for a quick pick up Banh Mi, recommend adding an egg makes it even more filling. And food came quick.

The bowl was okay I think the sandwich is better. However the avocado smoothie was amazing. I will definitely be back.

simple fast food concept serving banh mi (vietnamese sandwiches) $10.95, rice or noodle bowls $12.95, appetizers (egg roll $7.95, spring roll $8.95, fried $4.95, etc.), and specialty drinks $6.95...weekday visit during dinner hours and pretty empty...menu on the wall and order at the counter...ordering the lemongrass grilled chicken banh mi $10.95 and taking a can of diet coke from the frig behind $2...paying $16.75 total after tax and tip for sandwich and can...roughly 5 minutes and number called...asking for some sriracha and 2 packets provided...wrapped tightly and a normal sized sandwich...nice crusty bread holding everything in...taking a bite and finding a little underwhelming...a little dry and needing more flavor...the carrots and vegetables are cut too thick, and needing some pickled tangy acidity...overall, the sandwich felt dry and little bland...sriracha helped...
