Great korean food in a dingy looking place! The bibimbop 돌솥 비빔밥 was pretty good. The squid 오징어볶음 was not that great - would not get again. And the kimchi soup 김치찌개 was pretty good. I will come again to try other dishes

3.5 stars. After a 9-mile hike, my friends and I really craved for army stew and other hearty Korean comfort food. This restaurant's location and exterior makes it look like it's a deserted business since it's close to the corner of the plaza which makes it hard to find and the exterior prevents you to see through what's in the restaurant. The decor is very plain. Once we entered, we found that 80% of its customers were Korean. It seemed like the type of restaurant that locals go to. The side dishes selection is small but decent. The army stew was great! But the seafood pancake was just okay - just not that much seafood in it. The stone pot rice and tofu soup were both good. I wasn't impressed with the beef short ribs as those were a bit overdone and too chewy. It's a decent place for authentic Korean dishes and a great place if you're also craving for budae jigae!

Horrible lunch with hot pot fish which are full of smelly disgusting fish guts. The waitress keep saying is fish eggs which are not.. we will never go back again and tell all friends not to go there ever . Don't bother to try the horrible food which can make you so regret.

This place is underrated really. I've tried at least 15 different menu items and everything was really tasty. You should go with friends so you can try multiple dishes because Korean food is about variety! As I am writing this review, I am craving their food and will have to make another trip here this week (I went twice last week!) Oh and the prices are very good compared to other Korean places~~ always a plus!

It's 1 of my favorite Korean restaurants in the SF Bay area. It's run by a Korean family, serves mostly Korean customers and although it does not look fancy or is easy to find, it serves great Korean food. It's 1 of few Korean restaurants around to serve my favorite Korean stew/soup - Gam Ja Tang - which is a spicy pork bone soup with potatoes and vegetables. Got hook on this soup in Toronto's Korea town and since then, I've searched for this soup everywhere I lived.Besides the soup, I also like the variety of Banchan which are the small side dishes served before your main entrée. All of them are fresh and offers a variety of spiciness and textures. You know you're at a good Korean restaurant when the kim chee (pickled, spicy napa cabbage) is fresh tasting without any hint of sourness or gassy tasting. The service is also prompt, attentive and friendly. Prices are moderate but the serving sizes are quite large. I only ate half of my soup and had the rest taken home to enjoy the next day. Yum! Highly recommended!

I'm tempted to give this place 5 stars, but it really isn't; it's a solid 4 though. It has the feel of a local diner. There are a number of Korean men congregating who look like they could strike up a card game at any moment. A lot of people know each other here. The food was really good. I had the bibimbap; it was quite good and filling. It was accompanied by a nice collection of banchan, all very delicious. I'll define to be back. My second visit. I changed my mind. I definitely give it 5 stars it's perfect for what it is- funky neighborhood feel, like, "what happened, am I in Korea?" Food is good and satisfying. Great banchan and bi-bim-bop is good too Well, I've been coming here for a while now, but they no longer accept credit cards. I don't know why. That's too bad. Food tastes the same, although the Napa Cabbage kimchi doesn't seem as tasty as before. Maybe they have new owners, don't know. Lose a star
