Not a review - restaurant rebranded to Shimofuri Japanese BBQ Yakiniku. Same location, same prices, new name.

Price is expensive, food quality is normal. Servers only cares about good looking customer and ignore others.

two days ago was the first time in this magnificent restaurant. But It is absolutely not the last. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the good service, with the excellent dishes and wine and with the modest cost. We will definitely visit there in a short time.

This spot is the one I like best. I go to plenty of restaurants but to this one I keep coming back again and again. The crew is very warm and the cooking they place on your table is so appetizing. I am always happy to have a nice meal in this restaurant. I recommend this place with pleasure.

Such a great place for Chinese food! A wide array of dishes, great service and plenty of Asian beers. My favorite is the chow fun noodles with BBQ pork. The baby boo choy dish is also really good. And war won ton soup!!

Awesome spacious restaurant with a large selection of foods from curry rice plates to ramen bowls to BBQ items. They do serve alcohol here as well! I always prefer Japanese BBQ over KBBQ as I feel like the meat quality and the seasoning are better. JBBQ focus more on quality and less on sauce whereas KBBQ like to drench the meats with sauce which make them taste sickening more easily. The meat quality here is above average and I think they are reasonably priced. We also tried some appetizers, ramen, and the rice plates. They were all good. Service was a bit slow as I did ask for water 3+ times before I finally got my water, but the server was nice and wasn't grumpy or rude :) I will come back when I crave for Yakiniku again.

I really like their grill meats! The meats were good, marinated right, great flavors. Only thing was it’s pretty expensive , too bad they don’t have an AYCE option! Would allow us to try more items. We tried harami, galbi, karaage, Kama, got some pitchers of beers. The karaage were huge and fried right. You didn’t feel like it was oily. Same as the Kama- although they needed some Kama sauces. Meats were tender and delicious.

I wish they had an AYCE option because the meats were really good but quite pricey for a platter. We got a variety of meats to share for the table. I think my favorite will always be the Harami! The galbi was tasty as well! We also got the karaage and that came in super big pieces and fried to perfection. We also got the yellowtail Kama- that was good too although they needed to give you some Kama sauces. Overall quality meats, just a little pricey so you can't really binge unless you wanna spend hella $$.

I am so happy when they reopen for lunch on Fri through weekend now. Nothing can compete with high quality meat with variety of choices such as pork belly, galbi, seafood... come a long with hospitality. The servers all are very friendly, take care of customers and always very nice. This place also good for snacks and beer with big groups. Also they have Mori Ramen next door you can just order it and munch the ramen along w Bbq. I love Japanese culture not like Dan Iztakaya sth increase the tips by themselves not under the customers consent while their service is nothing.
