Did take out - portions are good but the cooking can only be described as Western version of Chinese menu - some missing spices and overall was sweet to our tastes

This owner is the former owner of Joy Restaurant in San Jose. They have been operating here for over 20 years, and although they moved here, the owner is still very kind. The food is still authentic and delicious, with sufficient portions. I really like their

Haven't eaten here in a while mainly since my mother has been sick. I dont know if that being the reason as to why the dishes were so tasty along with larger portions! To top it off, I was short on funds so instead of withholding a dish or two, was told I can pay next time I come in...who does that these days?!

The food here is amazing. My favorite is the sesame chicken and shrimp chow mein. The noodles are thick and sweet. And the chicken is white and crispy! The staff is nice.

Ordered the sizzling rice soup & fried chicken wings. The large bowl of soup seemed like a small; however, was good. The fried chicken i must say ? was better than KFC with a perfect crunch.Atmosphere got a 3 star only because the carpet looked dingy & the walls could be repainted to look a little more fresh. It's slightly dated to the 90's.Overall, I'm happy with my services & would recommend coming here. ☺️

Unfortunately, I ordered the sweet & sour chicken and was gravely disappointed. The chicken the opposite of tender, hard to chew, and may have come from the frozen food locker. On top of that, my friend and I ordered two of the lunch specials, two sodas, and a side of pot stickers (which weren't too bad)--the total came to $50! Outrageous. Will never eat there again and advise others not to waste their money.

This place was fine - it definitely serves that very Americanized Chinese food. The one thing that we ordered marked "spicy" (the spicy eggplant) wasn't really spicy to me but it was my favorite dish. The Honey Walnut prawns were also really good. I enjoyed the beef chow fun as well. This restaurant is one giant room with lots of good tables for groups, and even on a Friday night, almost no one there! I think they do a lot of take out business. The service was very fast and food came out quickly.I will say parking in this tiny lot is a pain. When I got there, the lot was full and a lot of the spots are marked for other businesses. Not too hard to find nearby street parking but the size of the lot seems inadequate for the selection of shops there.

I've been coming here for at least 20 years. I've lived in NYC and Chicago (3.5 years each) and NOWHERE compares to this place. This is where my family AND extended family choose to go for special occasions because we ALL love this place.

Food is good. Try the chicken wings with sweet and sour sauce. Usually not too busy.

I was really craving walnut shrimp and this place came highly recommended. Got here about 3.45 and was actually seated right away. Although online shows it don't open till 4.30. I place my order for food. But before that a little dog runs over to table. Small dog like a old yorkie...but I am not keen to seeing pets in restaurants. I hate that customer feel the need to bring them in eatery, but even more so the establishment having one. As a Yorkie lover I know he's innocent but the sanitary part about you touching my food and a dog. The lady who took my order was sitting at the table flossing while waiting on my friend to order. That's disgusting. I tried to ignore all the red flags and just focus on my food. Definitely will not come back. My coworkers at Kaiser refer me and I just told them the same. Nasty environment with handling plates. I pray the kitchen which is out the public eye is handled correctly.
