Best Mongolian BBQ in the History of history, it breaks my heart knowing they are closing. It was my favorite place to eat! I loved to introduce friends to this place

My boyfriend and I came to visit before their closure on 12/15/2021. Sad to see this place go. My boyfriend grew up eating at El Camino Mongolian BBQ, but I didn't. He was the one that introduced me. Loved this spot! I love my noods! It's a fun experience to choose all of your ingredients and watching it being cooked on the giant grill! The men working the grill are amazing at their job as well. Very efficient and friendly. The taste and the quality of the food is good too. It's just a bit messy since it is a buffet. Very sad to see this place go, but glad we got to support and eat it once last time. You will be missed!

This place has been a staple for a friend and I for Avery long time. I've brought other friends here to experience the great food and atmosphere and we are all very sorry to this place and it's wonderful owners go. Thank you for the memories and delicious food, John and Sunny. We will never forget you!

Please help keep this place alive! So sad that it is closing. I could only eat 1 plate. I did not even make it to the buffet options. I think the prices are great, and if they need to be raised....do it! Food is expensive everywhere. I would gladly pay $20 for an all you can eat restaurant. So yummy!

Had to go one last time before they permanently close on 12/15/2021. Been coming here since high school, which was about 12 years ago and this was the best place to go to for ayce Mongolian bbq. Nothing will compare to the hospitality the staff gave and the food they cooked. This place was a staple for me and my friends and I'm sure a lot of South Bay residents. I wish Sunny and John the best in their future and they will surely be missed!

A friend brought me here because it was closing sokn. Amazingly cooked fokd, greaf variety in vegetable choices for the bbq. The honey garlic chicken on the hot line already prepared was so good. Great service and glad to have tried this place out before it closes. Love the decor with the pictures. And handwritten reviews, truly will misz this iconic community staple.

It's bittersweet that this place is coming to an end. I have been coming here since I was a kid and it has always been one of my favorite places to go. Always great food, great service, and very worth it. I'm surprised they still have my dinosaur drawing that I drew from 10+ years ago hanging on their wall. Had to get a quick picture w/ it before they take it down. Glad I got to eat here one last time and remember all the good memories. Big thank you to the owners and I wish them all the best as they move back to Korea.

Easiest the best Mongolian BBQ in the area. I only started trying this place out 3-4 years ago, but by then you could already tell how much of a cult classic this joint is. The owners are extremely passionate, and the other patrons who were there were always conversating with them as if they'd be life long friends. This place also had a hot food section so you could eat the other foods to go along with your Mongolian BBQ. So much value and flavor. Just wanted to say thanks for all the great memories and wish their family all the best in their next endeavors.

Great selection of chicken. For the price point, the experience and selections they offer makes this place a fun treat to go to once in a while!

They always have the freshest meat and veggies! I've been coming to this place with my boyfriend since we were in high school! They never disappoint and would always have amazing service. I saw that they are closing this December 15 and we are deeply saddened about this as this is our go to Mongolian bbq place. We wish the best for the owners and to have a safe trip to Korea. Thank you for all the great memories you have given to your customers!

Loved it! We were a bit uncertain about going here for lunch and also apprehensive given we are quite strict vegetarians. From the outside it doesn't look like much, but we were so thrilled with the overall experience - without a doubt it gets 5/5. The place is clean, and well organized. A ton of fresh, clean veggies on the spread, + tofu, pineapple and noodles (and of course the meat). Variety of seasoning oils and spices, flavorful sauces that would suit all pallets. You can make your food as spicy or as mild as you like - I love that because me and my husband are polls apart on our preference for spice :) They know you are a vegetarian by the color of the bowl (green is for vegetarians). Also let the guy at the BBQ grill know and he will make sure to thoroughly clean the grill of any meat residues before your food is cooked on it. How it works: add all you want (veggies, meat etc.) to the bowl, including seasoning, oils, condiments etc. and then hand it to the grill master and voila!! Besides the BBQ grill they also have other food on the buffet spread. The service was quick and efficient. Loved the stories, photographs and various other artwork on the walls and up on the ceiling. Good, clean, fresh, healthy food options. We are definitely coming back!

AYCE Mongolian bbq. Yeah those place is getting pretty beat up inside, which adds to the charm. Dump or hole in the wall would be good descriptions. Foods fine. Pretty standard meat, vegetable, and sauce selections. I think the bowls are a bit bigger here than done other Mongolian BBQ locations, as a single pass seems to be enough food. Like most of these type of restaurants they can get backed up when busy. Help the people behind you out and just follow the posted recipes and move on. No reason to over think it and hold everyone up. They have a small hot/cooked buffet with a few items like egg rolls which is a bit of an added bonus.

Fun place, reasonably priced and they do a good job.

I've been looking for a mongolian BBQ place and was excited to see this place. It was rated very well by lots of people and seemed to have lots of history. The staff are very helpful since it was my first time - they took drink orders, let us know which table was ours, and then directed us to the stations. There's separate bowls for meat and veggies/noodles. There's also a sides cart which has vegetarian and non-vegetarian items. The non-vegetarian items include things like fried chicken breast nuggets, the same nuggets but with a honey/gochujang-like sauce, and some cooked beef in a slightly spicy flavor. As of October 2021, the prices have increased. Dinner was $17.50 and the bill ended up being $19 including tax and all for AYCE. The reason why I gave the spot 2 stars is that it could've been better. The grill needed cleaning and that meant the some of the burnt black flakes were in my food. The noodles are spaghetti noodles and not egg noodles - something that is a first I've had from any Mongolian BBQ place. Overall, my visit was not as I had expected. It's a nice AYCE spot but the quality could use some work. Sadly, when I think of mongolian BBQ, this spot did not bring those memories and flavors back.
