Lo key and good food. I was a little surprised that the fried yuca was only 5 pieces, but the chef's special seafood paella was so good my guest was eating my dinner.

Amazing food! Peru is known for their gastronomy (the art of choosing, cooking, and eating food) and this place does it right. This is a small restaurant, and ambience could be better but the delicious meal makes up for it. Our waiter was very attentive. If you want to try something new and tasty, try this place out.

We thought the food at Emelina's was solid but could have been better. The fish ceviche with fried calamari on top was great, but the chef's special paella wasn't our favorite as it was a bit dry and the seafood a bit overcooked.

Best Peruvian spot in town. And even if you don’t Peruvian food, you should just go anyway; this place is just delish. Was looking for a place to dine near SCU after a basketball game, and this restaurant came up on the Yelp search. The food is sooooo good and portions ginormous. We definitely overordered but made sure we ingested every bit. When we arrived around 6:30pm, the place was PACKED! They have outdoor seating, but it was a stormy night so everyone was inside. We got the second to last 4-person table and although freezing by the door, it was worth it.The waitresses are fast and efficient, food was really good, and don’t think they serve alcohol (maybe just beer).Parking at the lot is TIGHT but it’s right next to a large residential street; just park on the side and walk in.Will be back again!

Amazing Peruvian food. Got the Emelinas Ceviche, medium spicy, so tasty, def coming back for that, someone from our group thought it was too salty, but I loved it. Lomo Saltado was ok, but the lamb shank was also delicious and a popular choice in our group, and the chefs special el borracho was also very popular amongst my group. Def will visit again! Our server was great too. I'm gluten free and the server knew which options were gluten free so that was clutch.

Emelina's was delicious! I was craving Peruvian food, and this hit the spot. The wait staff was wonderful. As soon as I entered, I was greeted, seated, and provided with the menu. The atmosphere was lively and fun. The menu listed many different chicken, beef, seafood, and vegetarian dishes. I tried the Pescado a la Plancha: grilled fish fillet with olive oil and peruvian herbs, served with mixed salad and rice. It was $21 and the fish was large! It was perfectly seasoned and very filling, and I love how it came with salad and rice. Would definitely recommend this plate if you like fish!
