I came across Erik's Deli when I was living in Santa Clara and as a vegetarian, genuinely liked this place because their veggie sandwich has so many healthy ingredients and is refreshing.Unfortunately, picked up a take out order 2 days ago and my veggie sandwich contained chicken/turkey. I initially thought it was mushroom and had a few bites before my friend confirmed it was really meat. This is so disappointing to me because I've been a vegetarian for 20 years and ended up accidentally eating meat this way. It was a working day so I didn't have the time to go back and let their team know of this incident.3 stars because I've had the veggie sandwich before and loved it. Don't know if I'll be back but check your take out orders!

Ordered for pickup: a sandwich, chips, salad+carrots, and soup.They forgot the chips and carrots.They were super nice though. Location was clean and prices are great. I'll come back again, and expect that the rating will improve over time.

Overpriced, lacking flavor and the portions are just way too small. The service also was poor. It took over 15 minutes for 2 Sandwiches to be made. Go down the street to Togo's, off Kiiely and Benton. The togo's there give you a lot of meat and the service is excellent.

Ordered with a friend through Doordash today. Ham sandwich on an Onion bun. The bread was at least 10 days old and I am not exaggerating. If you do not have the onion bread substitute This is the second time I order in the last couple of months hoping to get a fresh sandwich.... and this will be the last time I eat there.
