Tried to order through door dash. After waiting almost 2 hours and going through 3 dashers, due to the wait door dash canceled my order. The restaurants phone number doesn't work; goes to a voicemail. Terrible experience.

Super nice lady working the register. Food was made quickly and it was delicious! $12.99 for a plate is very affordable considering the Santa Clara area. Even better with the $20.99 price for 2 plates. You can tell the food is homemade. Definitely coming back!

Small clean place lots of parking. Small little place and yes... it's all chicken. Very kind people working there. Food is cooked to order so the wait was not to bad for being freshly prepared. My only problem was that the prices are a little high. A $20 lunch is a little steep for me for what you get. Don't get me wrong, flavors were very good, chicken needs to be more tender. Lower prices would bring in more people. I love supporting small little places like this but it's probably not going to be a spot I'd come back to.

Tried this new place upon chance and glad I did. A small family owned place with some good food and great service. I’ve been here couple times already and their garlic chicken and fried chicken are my favorite! The quantity is pretty good and you get a small bowl of soup with your meals. Smoothies and Thai tea are pretty nice too.

Clean and friendly service. Poached chicken is not as juicy and tender as Chicken meets rice, but for the price, it is pretty good value.

I Don't like to leave bad reviews but for $15 this price I could have got an extraordinary meal from China sticks. I ordered the barbecue chicken and it was literally just like bones and rice there was barely any meat on the bones. And there was a really small scoop of rice. What absolute waste of money. I'm not sure about the other dishes but I have an idea of what they look like based on what I ordered. Definitely not coming back.

Looks like they just opened and family owned. The grandma was only one working it seemed and was handling the kitchen and register! She was great and food came out A+. It gives Chicken Meets Rice a run for its money.

House of Chicken just opened, and they are located in the same strip mall as Smart & Final in Santa Clara, and are located at the end of the strip. In addition to the traditional Khao Mun Gai/poached chicken and rice dish, they also offer other chicken options: angel wings, garlic chicken, teriyaki chicken, BBQ chicken, and fried chicken. Appetizers and boba drinks are also on the menu. They weren't busy yet around 6:30pm on a Thursday, and it was less than a 10 minute wait for my order. It was ready when I arrived, and I tried their Khao Mun Gai (Poached Chicken w/Chicken Rice, Homemade Sauce, $12.99, The chicken had good flavor, and I liked the chicken skin and chicken rice; however, the chicken was a tiny bit dry. It wasn't anything their homemade sauce couldn't fix! The sauce was really flavorful, but I did miss having a regular ginger scallion sauce. The rice plate comes with slices of cucumber and shredded cabbage, and the vegetables were very fresh. I would come back to try their fried chicken if back in the area. There were a few tables set up for indoor dining, but no tables for outdoor dining. Their staff were wearing masks, and hand sanitizer was available. Parking was easy to find in this plaza since there were plenty of spots.
