The food here is pretty meh. One staff member working here was trying to be helpful but yeah there should probably be two people here to man either side of the stations. The potatoes were alright but the eggs looked horrendously dry. Would definitely not go for them. Oh yeah this place is really overpriced for your convenience.

Mediocre food and the cook has a major attitude. However, I'm grateful there is a food space at KP which is why I gave the stars I did. Hospitals can be a stressful but there is plenty of space to sit and relax out of the patients room.

I bought 1 slide 2 topping. When I hold up the pizza slide it felt like very soft. I flipped it up and found the the crust was ripped off which showed the soft part of the crust. I returned and got a replacement (1 topping pepperoni). I took a bite, flipped and found that It was the same issue. here is the picture.

First time to this hospital and got confused on how to fine this cafeteria. I had to ask several people on how to get there. Im already scared trying to fine this place. The workers here are nice and friendly. The cafeteria is big with a lot of tables and chairs to seat at and clean too. They have an around where they have napkins, condiments, and silverwares.Once I got to the cafeteria I looked around and see what food selection do they have, but they didn't have much. I end up getting a burger that they trench with gravy. I never had a burger with gravy sauce. It cost almost $10 just for one burger and not sides or drink. I think a combo was $13 if I wasn't mistaking. They only have zero sugar sodas.

Great friendly staff... but prices and portions are ridiculous. No Staff discounts . I feel bad staff and families that have pay so much for cafeteria food . I feel the company running cafeteria is inflating prices and taking advantage of staff and patient families .

The cashiers are most customer services I’ve ever seen?!If you want to get sick, ? , come eat at Kaiser permanente Santa Clara,s cafeteria?!If you get sick, due to food ☠️ poisoning contact the state health department or file lawsuits ?!

This place was a big blessing to me a couple weeks ago when my son was having surgery and to be there on time super early and bring worried I skipped breakfast. After sitting in the waiting room for a few hours I decided to take a walk and find the cafeteria. I ordered a bagel egg sandwich and it was amazing. I assumed it would taste like "hospital food" but was pleasantly surprised. It was cooked to perfection. I also thought the price was very reasonable.

Lack of communication. I purchased a coffee but I was not allowed to serve it myself (they had no signs up stating that an employee had to do it for you) they had to pour it for me. Mind you, the sugar and creamer was a free for all. Totally defeats the purpose. Not friendly at all.
Average food , small portions, and high prices. Heard it was a new vendor handling cafeteria. Hopefully they get better in future

Minestrone soup and broccoli and cheese soup and I could have just ordered a full meal. It was disappointing (price wise) but there wasn't alot to choose from when we got here. It was afternoon and past the lunch hour so not much to choose from. We just had to make do with the free saltines for our soups. In fairness the kiddo loved her broccoli and cheese chowder? I couldn't have it since I am (now) lactose intolerant. (which sucks big time). There was a previous time that they were closed after 2 because they were understaffed. That's just sad.

Got pho here at the Kaiser cafe. $9. Salty chicken broth, gelatinous chicken bits, soggy rice noodles, few leaves of spinach. Lukewarm. Ugh. I got my money back.

Went here because I was hungry while my fiancé was getting some blood work done and I have to say this is just horrible! Waste of money and time! The lady serving the food was so nice but the cashier was in such a bad mood and she seem to hate everyone for being here just not what I would expect! Horrible horrible would not recommend you should just go to McDonald’s across the street!
