It's been a while since I had a good mealhoweverI paid for the food, but they didn't give me change. There is exactly 20% change left.I think they think it's a tip and don't give it.Still, shouldn't you give change first? And the tip should be left up to the customer...I tried to talk, but I ate it deliciously and was worried that it would offend me, so I just left.I've never been to the table, so of course I don't feel comfortable leaving a tip.

Rude servers we got there and they totally disregarded that we were there but yet there kind walk in and they got served before us also we were given 2 cups but it was 6 of us my family when we asked for more water the server lady just dumped off a jug and walked away but yet their people get full service, also when I asked for more cups she just brought cups all stacked up and left smh , I felt they're very racist, bias to their own people, we were thee only other race people in there. Plus thebrude server tried sitting by the bathroom but she let the koreans sit in the front tables which i asked if we can sit there she said no she directed us rowards the back by the bathroom entrance RUDE AS HECK!! PLEASE BE AWARE OF THESE PEOPLE AND THIS PLACE MAPO ..Be careful when going here if your not korean. Smh

Very fresh and special homemade kimchi, the pork neck soup is also very delicious and in a good portion size (more than enough for two). Definitely recommend!

Love the beef, kimchi, and banchan here. However, not a lot of options for non-beef eaters or vegetarians. Also, parking is a major problem, since there’s a lot of construction and it’s located in a small narrow plaza. Kind of pricey.

Listen idk if it's because I'm black or what. But the service I experienced here was horrible. I walked in the restaurant and I didn't see the name of the restaurant and I just wanted to make sure I was at the right place. An older Korean woman asked if I'm dining here I said yes but I asked if this was Mapo BBQ and she was like yes but 2 person minimum for BBQ. I was like that's fine cause I wanted my meat cooked anyway, I wanted galbi. She ushered me to the other side of the restaurant. I wanted to show her a picture of exactly what I wanted and she told me "just go sit down." I did reluctantly. I'm still looking in my phone of the picture I wanted to order she brings a menu and points at the Galbi $49.99 I said ok I'll take a look at the menu, I'm still trying to find the picture I want to show her. She doesn't even wait a minute. Another waitress takes the menu and starts writing on the meal ticket "so you want galbi?" I was turned off at this point. Nobody greeted me with a warm smile, asked me how I was doing? or gave me a chance to look at the menu. The whole experience was very hostile. I just smiled and said "no, I'm leaving" then got up and left. I won't be returning. I know when I'm not wanted.

The building renovation was in progress. We ate in the restaurant about a week ago.Clean and very nice service with cares on details. There were separate room too.The food were so great and much better than other adjecent Korean restaurants in El Camino.Their price is cheaper than others, but the contents of each dish were great and tastes better.!!

I recently visited a restaurant and unfortunately had a very poor experience. When we (2 people) arrived at around 9 pm, there was only one table occupied, and yet we still had to wait for someone to seat us. The staff were all at the front desk and did not seem to be aware of our arrival. After being seated, they didn’t bring the menu to us and we were left waiting for water for around 10 minutes, which was quite frustrating. To make matters worse, when it came time to pay, the server informed me that tips was mandatory and must be at least 18%. I was taken aback by this and felt that it was inappropriate. They also charged an extra fee for takeout containers ($1 for soup leftover plastic container, $0.5 for foam container).

Always great tasting food. The waitress/server took my half glass of beer without asking if I was finished or not. Other than that, no complaints.

Seriously a hidden gem! I love this place. One of the best Korean BBQ restaurants in the bay. Their brisket is the best quality I had that is equivalent to high end restaurants as well as their service! Unlimited banchan and the only place that has decent gopchang, which is always hard to find. The service always helps to cook your meat for you and that’s worth everything. The exterior of the place doesn’t look like much since there is some construction to the whole building, but the quality and price of the food is super worth it. Every experience here is always the best!!
