I can’t believe how poor the service is at this fine dining restaurant. The waiter was very impatient and his expression conveyed disgust. I don’t know what we did to upset him. There were about ten of us, and we spent two thousand dollars only to receive such service. I asked him to pack my food, but he never gave it to me and denied saying where he put my box. I’ve been to this restaurant twice; the first time was okay, but the second experience ensures I won’t return. Everyone, you really have many better options

This place was incredible. The wait staff was so splendid. Thomas was our server. He was so knowledgeable about the menu and made the best suggestions. The garlic mashed potatoes was my favorite dish. 10/10 would definitely recommend this place

We came here for the first time when we heard our favorite server Thomas began working here. We are so glad we did and we can’t wait to return.The food was next level! The menu had so many great options and I can’t wait to try everything. Everything we ordered exceeded our expectations and as always, Thomas made our experience special. His recommendations made us think he was a veteran. It’s obvious this establishment does a wonderful job educating their staff. This is a wonderful restaurant and you won’t be disappointed.

This was my first time here and i had a great time and a great dinner. Everything, aside from the Brussel sprouts were SO delicious! The staff were all very friendly and great.
Over all review of 3 star is for the "Host". Reservation is for 4 adults and was given a small round table during lunch (1230P). I think for being a host you should be able to gauge that 4 adults will be needing a bigger table to accomodate their orders. Servers and Food is excellent as always but was over shadowed by the "size of the table", the server even say "this table is to small for your orders". Also saw other table with only 3 people with bigger tables....... i guess the host don't feel we fit the bill.

it was my daughter‘s birthday last night, the service started out rate initially at 5 PM when they were not too many guests, the waitress was attentive however, as time passed, we barely saw her, and at the end, I was relying on the bus to box up her food follow up with us get our check get it signed. I think I might've talked to the bus and the security guard. We never saw her on the floor. I'm disappointed as that was my daughters birthday night last night it should have been a better experience. We've had a much better experience at the scottsdale location, I'm disappointed

Came here for an anniversary dinner with my man and had a great experience. We were happy with the food and service and look forward to coming back tonight to celebrate my sister’s birthday. Hopefully our 2nd visit will be just as good as the first.

I will start off by saying the food was good, but the service was very lacking.I made a reservation for my spouse’s birthday, I made sure to note it was a birthday and that I have special dietary needs on the reservation. We received a call day of confirming the reservation, they asked who the birthday was for and how their name was spelled, they also confirmed I would have a custom menu since I have strict dietary needs.We arrive at the restaurant and I asked our server about the options I would have and he basically just said you can order some veggies, I asked if they could do something custom (not anything complicated just a side of potatoes) and he said no that was not on the menu. So I basically had very little I could actually eat…this is very unusual for a restaurant of this caliber, since I have always been able to order something custom because of my strict diet. This dinner wasn’t about me but again it was upsetting. The server paid us little attention during our dinner, did not ask if we wanted another glass of wine, we had to ask multiple times for things, and last but not least they forgot my spouse’s birthday. I ended up asking about it when I paid the check because I myself was very upset and they eventually did bring something out for him.At this point my spouse was very annoyed and upset and this was the last thing I wanted for his birthday. We left very disappointed because we expected so much more from this restaurant.

We recently celebrate a birthday here. The drinks are good, but the prices are relatively high. The spicy mambo salad was a complete disappointment. The Caesar salad is also what you can buy off the shelf Caesar salad mix. The crabcake was solid with lots of crab meat, and very little fillers, the steaks were cooked well, however the biggest disappointment came from the side creamed spinach was very salty. Cream corn tasted undercooked the brussels sprouts have any Acid or sweetness added to it to cut the bitterness. The mashed potatoes definitely didn’t have fresh garlic and was a bit runny. The service was attentive, but it felt a bit pushy to increase ordering drinks. We did not order a bottle of wine, but for a party of six, we left that place with an $800 bill they did offer a cheesecake slice for the birthday person. The highlight was the oil cake with whip cream, which was delicious.

My recent experience at Mastro's Steakhouse left much to be desired. Initially, I was excited to celebrate my friend's birthday with a group of friends. However, several aspects of our dining experience fell short of expectations.Firstly, we ordered three servings of lobster bisque with the intention of sharing among five people. Despite the waiter's assurance that the bisque could be divided into six bowls, we only received five servings. The sixth bowl was placed on a serving table behind us and was later taken back to the kitchen without explanation. When I inquired about the missing bowl, the waiter insisted that it had been divided among us, which left us feeling disappointed and misled.Furthermore, our T-bone steak, ordered medium rare, was served almost well-done. While the waiter promptly took it back to the chef for correction, it was disappointing to receive the steak prepared incorrectly in the first place.Additionally, we requested to keep the bones from our dry-aged ribeye for the taking-out box. However, the staff seemed perplexed by this request and only packed the T-bone bone, neglecting the dry-aged ribeye bone entirely.Despite mentioning the occasion as a birthday when booking the table, there was no acknowledgment or special treatment from the restaurant. It was disheartening to witness another table celebrating a birthday and receiving blessings from the restaurant staff while we received no such recognition.While the waiter was polite and attentive, good service encompasses more than just courteous interaction. The overall negative experience left me questioning my decision to invite friends to celebrate the birthday event at Mastro's Steakhouse.In conclusion, while the food and service may have potential, the inconsistencies and lack of attention to detail detracted significantly from our dining experience. Improvement in these areas would greatly enhance the overall dining experience at Mastro's Steakhouse.I've been to Alexander's Steakhouse serval times, and wanted to give Mastro's Steakhouse a try. But NO. I will definitely recommend you to go Alexander's Steakhouse for a consistently enjoyable dining experience.
