This was the 2nd time I have bene here. We got dark choocolate, pandan, cookies and cream and churro. I love the chewy texture of mochi donuts. It was neat to see how they were actually made also.

I had the best experience here! It is on the pricier side (around $30 for a dozen donuts) but totally worth it. They had all sorts of flavors - my go to's are always matcha, cookies and creme and black sesame. But honestly, all the flavors are delicious. I also happened to come when there was a malasada pop up going on. Those were amazing too!!! I bought a dozen plus some malasadas to relatives who visit Hawaii often and they were SO happy when I brought over the MoDo Donuts. We love to cut the donuts up into pieces so everyone can try different flavors. The store was cute and had plenty of parking. There were a couple of people waiting for their donuts too. Staff was so patient as I indecisively chose my donuts. Overall a fun place to try if you're in this area!

Oh my goodness. Their mochi donuts are life changing. I've never been a fan of them until I tried these freshly glazed ones today. When they hand you the box, you can still feel the hot package and smell the mixture of sweetness. The donuts are fried to light golden crisp with the perfect soft mochi texture where you can easily pull them apart. The lilikoi and matcha are my favorite. Sesame and pandan come second. Papaya and lychee would come last. That's a me problem though because I don't typically choose these flavors for desserts. These flavors are spot on so if you like them, you'll enjoy these very much. Overall, this location is great. Plenty of parking spots in a large plaza. Friendly staff and quick service!

I ordered 100 donuts for my daughter's donut themed birthday and they were a hit! Everything was gone in an hour and a half. It was nice that they can deliver within a certain number of miles, but the only small issue was that some of the donuts were slightly squished and didn't hold their circle shape to be placed on the donut display board.

BEST MOCHI DONUTS EVER.They were fresh out of the fryer and the flavors were strong and not too sweet. The wait wasn’t too long either.Highly recommend the pandan and black sesame donuts! Heads up that the lilikoi has a sour kick to it.I will never have another mochi donut anywhere else….

MoDo is the best place to get mochi donuts. They make them fresh - as in, the donuts are freshly fried, then dipped into glaze - after ordering. This means you always get warm donuts that are crisp outside and soft and chewy inside. Other places premake their mochi donuts, so you don't get that amazing texture. If you eat it fresh after you get your order, the glaze is still melty and a bit messy. If you wait a bit, there's this sweet spot where the donut is still warm, but the glaze has started to harden - just perfect! Their glazes can be sweet, but because they're lightly dipped, it's not too sweet for me. They have monthly flavors, as well as their staples. They also offer a special from 8AM - 9AM every day for 6 mochi donuts for $10. This includes their monthly flavors which are more expensive than their classic flavors, so it's a great deal. They also offer some drinks and ice cream, and they're opening a drive-thru drinks concept across the way later this month! They offer online ordering as well.

I love their 6 donuts for $10 from 8am-9am. Mochi donuts are usually too expensive to buy so I always get them from Modo Hawaii. However, all of their flavors are extremely sweet so I only get the dark chocolate flavor.

Please don't ever close down. This is the only place that makes hot fresh donuts made to order, and that makes all the difference compared to all these other mochi donut places with stale donuts sitting out all day long. I go here every month to try new flavors. I heard the one in Hawaii closed down, hope this location doesnt!

Good variety of mochi donuts. We tried matcha, chocolate, passion fruit, oreo flavors, all of them are good, with matcha stand out. They smell really good, we were so ready to dig in that we forgot to take photos.

The service was of poor quality and did not seem to improve anytime soon.It isn't easy to find a parking lot near the store, so I called and would like to place an order, and I got rejected. They asked me to order online, so I did it.The pickup time was 1 hour later so my kids and I went to pick up lunch not too far away from the store. When I got there around 1:30, they didn't prepare my order at all, even though they were not busy. So I have to wait another 5 minutes. They always serve people in the store first. They don't care about people who needs to pick up quickly and the online order is so lame and useless. It is very inconvenient and time-consuming to shop at this store.Such a horrible service!

Amazing donuts the girl made it so fresh right in front of me. I wish I bought more before they closed.

Mochi is freshly made! Chewy and crunchy! Very tasty. The black sesame flavor is very strong, will go there again! The only thing is that I think the drinks are a little bit over price for its size.

Great spot for mochi donut needs! Staff is friendly like usual. Ordered the churro donuts as those are my favorite. Parking spaces are tight in the plaza.

Excellent fresh donuts... must try! Friendly staff. I just wish they would have seating inside and serve coffee.
