I ordered a bunch of goodies from Petal Leaf for my tea party for my client and and friends and everyone LOVED the flower cakes. I am a Chinese practitioner and I understand the medicinal value of flowers. Next time when you're stressed, instead of grabbing your kitkat or chocolate full of sugar (or high fructose corn syrup), try their rose cakes. Roses move your liver qi and it soothes your mood. ? I am a big believer of eating flowers. Kudos to Petal Leaf for their dedication and creativity!!! Not only their cakes are absolutely delicious, they're also beautiful. A perfect collection for your party treats.

OH. MY. FREAKING. GOD!!! They make the best flower cakes! The sweetness is just right. I ordered the rose and purple yam ones. I nearly cried when I was enjoying them. You can tell they are dedicated to their art. Highly recommend!!!

Went there on Thursday at 1pm and they're closed. Yelp says they're open. I even tried calling and no one answered or called me back. This was my souvenir stop on the way to the airport but unfortunately after this I won't be going back to waste my time again.
The filling is very unique and tasted like slightly fragrant berries. I have never had a rose petal based filling before. The external pastry was okay and felt a bit like it overpowered the rose.

So amazing. The pastry is delicate and flakey, not like the store bought chinese pastries that can be tough and thick. The rose petals filling is perfect. Delicate, slightly but not too sweet, and has a lovely texture. I got the small and liked the filling to pastry ratio. More filling would make this too sweet for my personal taste. The packaging was top-notch and each pastry is sealed in its own package, so you don't have to worry about having to eat it all in one go. It also has an expiration date. I'm so delighted to be able to get Mei Gui Su Bing outside of China! I seriously thought I'd have to make a trip back to find this. If I could give this more stars I would. THANK YOU!!!

Super efficient shipping and processing time. Now let's get to the cake itself. It's much like a lo po bang on the outside with its flakey crust! I got a box of the small rose cakes, but I wish I got the large ones! So next time I'll get those.. I feel like the large one would have a better filling to crust ratio. The flavor is very fragrant and rose-like, but not overpowering for those that don't like floral essence. The filling texture was so unique! They use real rose petals compacted inside to make the filling. Overall, delicious, unique, and a great snack! Also great for gifts for family and friends!

I will be honest, I just want to be the first person to review this place and the was curious about rose cake. It's mre of a flaky pastry similar to biscuit but with filling! The rose filling is not overwhelming sweet, it's taste like strawberry preserves with rose fragrance smell. It's actually very good and I am glad I got 2 large boxes of it. Pretty sure it's dairy free so for people who is lactose intolerant can enjoy it also. Order from their website, 40 dollars for free shipping!
