The food here is very good! They have so many different meat options to choose from, even if you do not eat pork or beef. The lamb and seafood are fresh. Stephen (Curry) was an awesome server and made sure we were always attended to and kept with new rounds of food on the table!

They have some of the most flavorful broths of all the Shabu places we've tried. We had the tonkatsu with garlic oil and the silky miso dashi broths and both were delicious. The choice of meats and veggies is diverse and the service is prompt. If you're not drinking, the Supreme selection is a very good choice. When they refill the broths, they don't just add the soup base, they also add a bit of the original broth so it stays rich.

I recently visited Taichi Pot in Santa Clara and was thoroughly impressed, making it my new favorite Shabu Shabu spot in the Bay Area. The quality of the Shabu Shabu was outstanding; the meat was exceptionally fresh, and I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of their ramen noodles. Additionally, the service was fantastic – friendly, attentive, and efficient. I highly recommend Taichi Pot for an unforgettable dining experience.

I came here for an Uber eats pickup. The staff was immediately rude, ignored my inquiries and told me to sit and wait. When I tried to sit down, a ridiculously top heavy desk that was being held up by the chair crashed to the floor. I immediately apologized and started cleaning up the mess, but the staff told me to stop and tried to make me wait outside in the cold. When I refused, the staff member i was talking to got in my face and attempted to intimidate me. After realizing none of the other staff would help me and it was likely I wouldn't be getting the customers order anytime soon, I cut my losses and cancelled the order.I believe the staff member who was extremely rude to me was likely the owner, as he blamed me for his precariously balanced furniture falling over and was quite rude to me, but none of the other staff would speak up to help or even try to get the food quickly so I would leave. All being said, it was a very unpleasant and traumatic experience that cost me about 15$ and I walked away with nothing but body shakes and an unpleasant story.

I came with some girlfriends on Sunday 12:30 pm with a reservation for three. The food was fabulous, we got the mala soup base. We were pleasantly surprised about the AYCE shabu, 90 minutes time limit. Our favorite was the beef belly and the other meats were good quality. Personally I appreciated not having to wait in line and plenty of parking in the plaza!

Great selection for an all you can eat. The meat options are all really good and lots of other seafood options. Stephen was a great server!

If you're looking for AYCE Hotpot and AYCE Drinks this is your place!! From Monday - Sunday before 6:30pm you can get AYCE (Ultimate set) which includes all premium meats and Sapporo and/or Hot Sake.During happy hour the prices per AYCE choice is:- Premier: $31.95/per- Supreme: $34.95/per- Ultimate: $44.95/per The staff is incredibly friendly and walked us through the menu to help us decide which AYCE choice. Shoutouts to Stephen who made sure we had everything we need during our visit, and created such a warm welcome to our first time at Taichi! Highly recommend the Kobe Beef & Lean Angus Beef, Shrimp Gyoza, and Fresh Ramen! Everything was to our liking and appreciated the complimentary sauces already provided (peanut sauce & ponzu). This is a great place for date night or with a group of friends and family. Highly recommend stopping by :)

Service was amazing! They were very polite and patient with explaining how things work and their recommendations. They brought us meat refills immediately and came by with water very frequently.Happy hour is awesome prices for good meat. I was very pleased with the variety and freshness of the vegetable sides as well. I liked the garlic soup base. My one criticism is that broth refill is provided using the same broth no matter what your actual soup is, and that broth is very dashi-forward. I'm not a huge fan of fishiness, and near the end of our meal (after ~3 refills) it started to really dominate.

The meat quality is really good! I usually go with the "Supreme" option so I can get the beef belly and the wagyu meat options. Came on a Friday night and it was fully packed but I was able to be seated pretty quickly! Service in the beginning was a bit slow but understandable as they were very busy but once we started rolling in with all the meat and veggies they were very attentive and helpful! I highly recommend getting the miso broth! The tonkotsu black garlic oil broth is also very flavorful. The ambiance is a little dark in the restaurant and also can accommodate bigger groups. Definitely fun and family friendly but also a place if you want to drink!

Solid spot with a lot of seating. We came on a weekday night and there was no wait and lots of seats available.Wait staff was super attentive during our entire time there. Meat quality is decent. I like spicy food, but one time, I tried the Mala broth on a high spicy setting and I had an out of body experience and had to go sit in the car alone (lol). This time, the Mala broth wasn't so bad.

Love this place - but not when it's busy. They will not honor my Yelp Reservation and claimed it's a system error - very unfortunate.

Taichi never disappoints with its all-you-can-eat, fresh meat and crisp veggies — it's our top pick for Shabu Shabu. Also, special thanks to our waitress, Kendra.
