I just want to make sure that this review is for the Santa Clara California location on Benton, I've always liked togos, but this location is not a togos location that you're going to want to go to, they are rude, make the sandwiches very sloppy, it's like they're upset to be working and don't want to be there, if you add pepperchinis to your sandwich they'll seemingly sarcastically, put so many on your sandwich that it makes it un edible, it also seems (I may be wrong) like the quality of their meats at this location are not up to par, bottom line, they are rude, they do not make a quality sandwich at this location and they seem to show you how unhappy they are by purposely making your sandwich horrible.Go to another location where they care about their customers and reviews of their store locations reputation, corporate should probably replace the entire staff and start over or just close this location all together.

This really is the worst run Togo's in the area. They keep the chairs on top of their tables to make sure you don't feel welcome to eat there. Probably because their employees use the dining room as a day care center for their kids. They also block off their bathroom so you can't use it. And 9 times out of 10 their fancy soda machine will be out of just about every kind of soda. Go to another location if you can.

What a bad time coming to eat here. Not only where the employees clearly in a bad mood. It showed how my sandwich and my co-worker's sandwich were made. I asked for a 6 inch pastrami melt, and it seemed like I asked for a peperoncini sandwich instead. There was more peperoncini than pastrami. I asked if we could sit in the dining area to eat and was told no because it was going to be cleaned at 11:30 am. when most people started going to lunch. We couldn't even use the restroom to wash our hands cause it was about to be cleaned as well. 3 lady's in the counter, and none of them seem to even want to be there. I understand that customers can get out of hand, but no one wants to come into a restaurant and greeted with an attitude. Paid 20 bucks for a meal that wasn't good at all, especially having to dig out 10 peperoncini out of my sandwich and be left with a comical portion of pastrami. What a bummer this place was.

Sadly, Togo's as a whole restaurant chain across the board has gone down compared to the way they were back in the 80's/90's. First and foremost the sandwiches have gotten shorter and shorter. Secondly the fillings have gotten reduced. Thirdly, the taste is just not as good as I remember. My favorite sandwich from way back was the Turkey and Avocado on white. Back in the day it was loaded...there was no way to eat it without all those fresh delicious fillings gushing out, and I did not care, because it was sooooo dang good! The Pastrami was piled so high. The Meatball sub was filled with giant meatballs (whole). Last time I came to this place I ordered the club, which was supposed to include turkey, ham, bacon, and avocado with all the fixings. At first, I thought they forgot to include the bacon, I saw no bacon or tasted any bacon....but upon opening it there were 2 sickly white barely cooked bacon slices in there ...they never put it in the broiler to heat it, it looked like uncooked fat! That was gross. The avocado was just a very thin layer too. Overall the thing I tasted most was the breadiness. Disappointing sandwich to say the least. Buyer beware, ask for them to crisp up the bacon!!

0 stars, we got turned away 17min before closing. We asked the name of the person who closed the door in our faces. She claimed her name was Melissa but she hesitated and we had to ask her twice for her name. She was the closer on 7/11/23.

Ordered online. I would call the service indifferent, like being helped by someone who just don't give a you know what. The meatball sandwich and roast beef were just not good tasting and probably sat all day in heated bin. We couldn't take more than half a sandwich. Just tasted bad.Too many other places to get a sandwich by people who care and serving food that is good. Second star was for the Broccoli cheese soup. Will not go near that Togos again.

We always get our sandwiches here. They are always friendly. We tried Dutch Crunch here today. It wasn't as crunchy as I remember but had a hint of sweet to it - liked it! There was a mix up on our order but they were quick to try to fix it and very friendly in the process. We will be back ;-)

What was bad was out of employees control and management needs to step it up. First off, every business except Togos has exclusive parking so it took me 15 minutes to get a spot. Then, during the noon weekend lunch hour there are only 2 people working and a line snaking through the store. 6 different customers entered and left. With only 2 employees, it took 28 minutes to wait in line for 8 people in front of me.Parking: Very difficult to find parking as other stores have reserved parking, but Togos does not. Spent 15 minutes circling.

Super rude people working at this location go to a different one. They also don't have the Dutch crunch advertised on TV
