Vegetarian options: For the quantity they are serving the pricing is too high… almost $20 for just a pasta tossed in a sauce. But the quantity was too less at $20

It is a place for casual gatherings, good food and drinks. I recommend ordering in advance for takeout, it is a popular place!
No frill place with authentic Italian receipes, yum sauces, parmesan homemade bread.

We visited Tomatina with some coworkers after a week of on-site work. As someone who had never been to a franchise Italian restaurant before, I was initially skeptical about the quality of the food. However, my assumptions were quickly proven wrong. The inviting happy hour drew us in, and I decided to try a Negroni. As a connoisseur of them, I can attest that this one was truly great. Our table also ordered garlic bread and bruschetta, both of which looked absolutely mouthwatering. The garlic bread were puffy bread pillows smothered in garlic oil, super tempting that I unfortunately had to resist due to my diet. Nonetheless, my Mixta salad was a delightful surprise - it was fantastic, filling, and incredibly delicious. Everyone at the table agreed that all the meals looked good and were enjoyed. However, despite the food and drinks, the service fell short during our 1.5-hour visit. We were never offered a water refill throughout our meal, which was a noticeable flaw in an otherwise enjoyable experience at Tomatina.

I was here with my friend to celebrate her birthday. We decided to come here so that after dinner we can go and watch a movie at AMC. We were seated at the booth which we asked for. Since the time was limited we decided to give our order - brussel sprouts, for appetizers, salmon fry as main entree and chocolate tiramisu for dessert. Before all that we ordered red wine. After selecting between two samples the Pinot tasted good. The service is great and I was surprised when the salmon came with fresh cheese grated on top of it. I do not like cheese and hence I had to tell the server. He was nice and took it and got me the order without cheese. Lessons learned, don't assume and call it out at the beginning itself to be safe. We enjoyed our dinner, the brussel sprouts was delicious and with dry fruits and dried cranberries it tasted awesome. The tiramisu cake was so delicious we both finished it quickly in no time. The vibe was cool and quiet inside the restaurant. It seemed like other servers were busy packing takeout food items. It was good to experience here. I will recommend this place for sure.

Meatball piadine was so-so. Too much parsely. Minestrone soup was wnderful.
We had weekday lunch, so we tried a couple of the 2-dish pairings for $13 each: salad-pasta, salad-pizza, rolls, cocktail, tiramisu. The salads, rolls and tiramisu were good. Pizza was just OK, it is probably better to order this separately instead of as a pair (where you are limited to 2 toppings). Our server was friendly and super attentive, though he was stretched. Good casual atmosphere.Prices are especially pocket friendly at the weekday lunch time.
Very rude staff. We stood at the entrance for a long time, everyone saw us, but no one bothered to come receive us or even just tell us “one sec”. They just immediately looked away. I’m fine with having to wait, but I didn’t feel seen at all. Zero respect for customers. We stood there completely ignored, feeling like total idiots. We were the only party waiting to be seated, and the house was only 60% full. No idea how the others got seated.

The food was ok, but there is better Italian available in the area. The staff was friendly, but their default potion to order is to scan a code for their app. The issue was it took me to an order for our table that had a pre-existing bill to pay. The app is also inconvenient for a group order on one check. Fortunately, they brought menus and let us order conventionally.
