I ordered the fajita combo plate. The steak and vegetables were tasty and the meal included fresh tortillas, rice, beans, guacamole, a few chips, a little bit of salsa, and a drink. They even added some jalapeños to give it some extra spice. The staff were helpful and nice. The seating was arranged towards one side of the dining area, so there was a fairly wide space between the kitchen area and the tables in the dining area.

IMHO, this is the best Una Mas location in the Bay Area — great burritos & tacos (I go for the crispy chicken with guacamole), and tortilla soup to die for!Friendly service and relaxed atmosphere — even better if/when they bring the booths back.Kid-friendliness: Kids meals good — can get with pinto or black beans.

They have the best tortilla soup. I absolutely loved it. :)Kid-friendliness: They can take off any unwanted items on their food. They are very kind to kids.

Second attempt to leave a review ...I come in to this location of Una Mas from time to time for Takeout. *They have a few tasty items suitable for Vegetarians. ? What I really don't like ?is having a series of pointed personal questions gunned at me by the cook who also works the front counter. ?It's Extremely Creepy & Completely Inappropriate & management needs to Clue this guy in, ASAP! Even more offensive: I left a decent tip when I paid for the takeout -- before the interrogation started (after which, I waited in my vehicle). Please, Management, it's 2023; Clue Your Staff In at this location, So Offensive!Vegetarian options: A

When it was pre-pandemic this place was great for a quick lunch. However, post- pandemic, the food quality is not there anymore and the energy level of service has gone down drastically.

This una mas must be locally managed or locally owned as the food was just superb , the flavors were outstanding and spiciness level was just amazing you can choose from mild to chili pepper hot.

Been a fan of Una Mas for years. Purchased my favorite (Foghead burrito). Enormous size with plenty of everything. The flavor was as good as the other locations. Unfortunately, some of the ingredients did not seem fresh.

The burritos were absolutely delicious. It was soft and chicken was so juicy it just literally melted in my mouth.

Not the best burritos I've ever had, but my experience has been consistent every time I've gone. Really convenient as a local.

It's been many many years since I decided to go to Una Mas. I actually remember when Una Mas first came to the Bay Area around the mid-90's. the burritos were ginormous! And chock full of everything. This was a great cheat day meal for me back then, when I was on a perpetual diet. LOL I'd take friends there all the time and they would be amazed. Well, as everything, times have changed things. The burritos have shrunk through the years, their meat offerings have changed, and of course prices go up. I ordered 2 different burritos for the hubs and I, and for $12 I thought, meh, not really worth it. The taste was so-so, not great, I've had better. The guy taking my order though, was super nice and helpful and let me take my time deciding what to order. So that was really nice!

Actually 2.5 stars rounded up. I used to come to this store frequently when I lived nearby. With so many of their other locations closing, I find myself returning to my old location. They used to be dependably good (not great) but if it’s what you wanted, you got it. I like the grilled veggie burrito and my SO the tortilla soup. Free chips with every order is a nice bonus. When the pandemic hit, the salsa bar understandably went away. Now after nearly every other restaurant has returned to normal, their salsa bar has not. You could maybe ask for limes, jalapeños, pico de gallo, etc., if you’re there in person but there’s no way to do it when ordering online. Kind of drag. What confirms their downturn to me is they have replaced the steak that used to be available in the margarita salad with flat, uniform strips of seemingly processed beef. While their erstwhile carne asada was often overcooked, it was recognizable as meat.So as long as my favorite menu items stay the way I like them, I will probably be coming back when the mood strikes. It just wouldn’t shock me if it all went away
