Achita never disappoints. Their sushi is good quality and the service is always consistent and on par. They recognize their regulars and appreciate that they return and they're not afraid to show it in front of everyone else. The baked crab hand roll is something I have a hard time finding elsewhere.

First the service, zero welcome, a rude "are you ready" and it was a 5:15pm non-rush order time. The rating on the door was a B and why... as I was leaving, these girls had a roach run across their table! Lol yeah seriously what is wrong with you people?!

usually this place does a great job. Today, their yellowtail with sesame sauce was grey and immediately threw it up. Avoid

Really good sushi! We tried Achita sushi for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised. My favorite rolls were the Hamachi Specialty roll, Lemon roll, Achita roll, Heaven roll, and Double shrimp roll. Our least favorite was the Valencia roll and Furious roll. My husband also didn't like his spicy yellowtail hand roll. They use chili oil with the yellowtail instead of spicy mayo like other sushi places do. It's different, but the chili oil bitter flavor isn't for everyone. Overall, I would give it 4 out of 5 stars. While most of the food was fresh and great tasting, there was definitely items I wouldn't order again.

We have been coming to Achita for over 5 years. IMO by far the best quality fish for Nigiri. They have a large selection of speciality rolls. They have a lunch special which comes with miso soup, edamame, an assortment of 5 pieces of nigiri sushi, and one speciality roll. We ordered the lunch special along with several other items from the bar. The owner Jay is always so polite, and always takes the time to make small talk. I highly recommend giving this place a try.

Best Iv Ever Had! I ordered the seared tuna cospochia. I asked them if they could add some sprouts or cucumber or something fresh. Was best Iv ever had! I'll be back!

It's with a heavy heart that I'm giving this review as I've known Achita to be one of the better sushi resto in SCV (and living here there isn't much option). I guess I mostly take my food to go, but this time around we thought to dine in. When we did so, it was just horrible. To begin with, the lady that took us in to sit never came back to ask for our order neither was there any server that intentionally came by to ask for it. We had to flag them just to order. We only had 3 orders - calamari, lemon roll and Valencia roll. The calamari came 15 mins later and when it did it was all tentacles. The rolls, which I thought would be a quick order took longer than the calamari! I guess I would have understood the wait, if not only I noticed that a party of 3 that came in 15 mins after us got served their sushi much sooner than we did. It took us about an hour to dine in despite of our small order, where we ended up paying close to $100 (tip included) for a really horrible service. I guess I could have not considered tipping but we were still trying to be good customers in bad restaurant ‍

BEST sushi in the valley! Me and my fiancé had our first date there and have gone every Sunday since! I recommend the crispy rice, lemon roll, 911 roll, and (my personal favorite) the Valencia roll! The service is incredible and the vibe there is unmatched! Don't forget the green tea!

Second time coming here for lunch. Their lunch specials are a great value, plus super tasty. Fish is always fresh, the rolls are well seasoned. This is def one of my go to places when I'm in town

Small but always good food and good service. We arrived at 5:45p and the place was already getting crowded on a Thursday. I had the 3 hand roll combination which includes a choice of hand rolls and miso soup. Service was good and attentive. Everything was fresh and delicious and portions were good.

Horrible Wasabi! Dry and mild. I like a little sizzle. Salmon handroll was mixed with some oily base, didn't have that fresh, raw taste. All I could taste was sesame oil. You won't get green tea refills, it comes in a can! Can get expensive that way. Sashimi ok, thin cuts. Otherwise the special rolls were a bit better, Sexy Roll and Heaven were good.
