This was my "pollo" bowl. Hard to find much pollo, but lots and lots of rice and beans. Flavor was good, but maybe it needs to be renamed rice bowl

The food? I've had better at just about any other pollo loco. The pollo bowl? Really? Shredded bits of remnant chicken that's been scraped out of the bottom of a pan. Pollo bowl used to have cubes of chicken not a few crumbs. The person at the window didn't seem to know them menu. Been going to pollo for a long time. I'll never stop at this one again maybe they should send their cooks back to school. Or to the excellent pollo loco on Nordoff x Balboa in the San Fernando Valley. This was horrid. Sadly was in a hurry and on the road so I need up with chicken crumbs in a bland bowl with a ton of rice. Depressing. Won't be back

Came through drive thru today and was welcomed by the kind spirited miss lupita. Her selling skills are amazing. Absolutely appreciate her patience and the clarity when ordering. Someone give this girl a raise!!!!!

Wow, there are a lot of low-rated reviews for this El Pollo location. Every time that I've gone, service has been great and the food is always fresh. On my lunch breaks, I've recently started opting in to eat food from El Pollo because chicken is high on protein and low on fat. I've also been receiving many El Pollo coupons in the mail recently. Whenever I place my order, I usually order their protein and tostada bowls, which I mostly enjoy. But, most of all, Lupe makes the whole drive-thru experience worthwhile. She's an amazing staff member with excellent customer service skills. I'll return again next week for lunch!

I recently had an outstanding experience at El Pollo Loco in the SCV. The food was fantastic, the customer service was top-notch, and the restaurant was impeccably clean. What stood out to me was the thoughtful touch of offering churros with my meal. The staff even asked if I preferred them before or after my meal, and I chose to have them afterward. The freshly cooked churros were the perfect ending to a delightful dining experience. This El Pollo Loco location truly sets the bar high in the SCV.

We stopped coming here a while ago because the service was very bad. Today we decided and tried again but we’re leaving with the same feeling. They had us waiting in the cashier for minutes, no one showed up. Then food took a long time and the chicken pieces were very small. If the service was better, this place would be packed!

I've been to many EPL locations & this particular restaurant has a friendly & efficient staff & delicious food. Personal shoutout to Carla for being a great manager. I visit 2-3 times a week & I appreciate how they treat their senior customers. It's a great value for retirees. They also cater to the everyday working laborers who really seem to appreciate their value for their money. They keep this restaurant busy by coming in almost daily. I would like to acknowledge Steven, Lashawn, Eric, Kimberly, & Lupe for being great ambassadors for this restaurant. They go out of their way to make you feel like you want to come back. I've also talked with Ralph, Armando, & Ivan cooking in the back. All have acknowledged me with a friendly greeting. Staff is great but I wouldn't visit so often if not for their delightful food at a budget friendly price. I wish more people who have great experiences would post on yelp. Keep up the terrific service Carla & staff!!!
Food came out pretty quick. Fun ambiance with pleasant staff. Staff was able to make my order correct since I have dietary restrictions. Will be back when I visit Santa Clarita again.
