My wife and I picked our granddaughter up from dance class. She was hungry and asked if we could stop at McDonalds, so we did. Our order consisted of a Big Mac, an order of chicken nuggets, a Quarter Pounder and a medium drink. We've always loved the food at McDonald's, we've enjoyed their burgers when they were just fifteen cents, but on this trip, our bill was in the mid to high thirty dollar range. So, not only has McDonald's substantially kicked up their prices, where a family with kids spends a good portion of food budget, but another thing quite apparent is the shrinkage of the size if their sandwiches. When you have to eat twice as much to get a decent filling meal and then your wallet empties twice as fast for less, and to boot, the customer no longer enjoys the happy smile when greeted by the person at the counter because to save money, McDonalds has installed kiosks where the customer has to enter their own order. How impersonal is that?So, I still get the same old great taste of my Filet 'O Fish, I just have to save up for a month to afford to eat one.

Guy tells me to pull up to the next speaker to give my order and then promptly doesn't answer the next speaker and instead takes the order from the guy behind me at the speaker I was just at. I have to drive around and get back in line behind three new people.All on a day when I am on an insanely tight schedule.Forget it. Never going back there!To the manager -- train your people.

I stopped by after a local high school football game. I wanted four apple pies, and they were out. I asked for an ice cream cone, and the place was out of ice cream. Such a large chain, and they don't know how to restock their supplies.
