This restaurant is tucked away but that's what makes it nice. Wide open parking and easy access. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food is made exactly how you request it. If you want spicy or mild they will help you make the best decision. Not greasy and the portions are big. I recommend this restaurant if you're looking for authentic Thai cuisine

One of my very favorite Thai restaurants anywhere! I love the attention to detail. The frozen Thai tea bear is such a great touch.

Surprisingly good Thai food in Santa Clarita. Didn't know that existed to be honest. Found this place after searching on Yelp. This small place does well. Went there tonight around 6:15 was seated immediately, no wait. The table was wiped promptly before sitting down and we were asked what we wanted to drink almost right away. They have wide selection of beers, wines and saki. Our drinks were brought to us very quickly and we ordered. We didn't have to wait long before our soup came out. Given enough time to eat our soup, our main entrees came out. They timed everything really well. We ordered the Tom Ka soup. It was very good, my only critique is that it's wasn't as temperature hot as I would've liked it. We also ordered the pad Thai, yellow curry, and the mama's green beans. Everything was exceptionally good, and the spice level was perfect. The staff is super polite, nice, efficient and fast. I will be going back next time I'm in Santa Clarita.

My partner and I love the Thai food here. The ambiance of the restaurant is perfect and welcoming, yet still small so it's intimate. Hands down we feel it's the best Thai food in Santa Clarita. They have amazing lunch specials too.

My hubby and I went for lunch, our second time to eat at Mom can cook and we weren't disappointed food is delicious, service is great. I told our waitress that I wish they would have a restaurant in our area, the waitress said she would talk to the owner, the waitress left then came back and said that they will be opening a Mom can cook takeout in Castaic on The Old Road, wow, amazing news.

I came here with my actual mom to try out mom can cook. There was no mom in sight that cooked our food. It was a man that cooked our food. The reason we came to eat here was because we won a gift certificate that had $25 on it. After using it, the actual price exceeded this $25. We spent additional money maybe another 25$ or so for two dishes. So each dish was about $20ish which to me is way overpriced especially given that I had much better Thai food. We did order calamari and it was an additional $4 because it was seafood and same with the shrimp. The markup after covid is criminal. However, we needed to get rid of this gift certificate as it had an expiration date. The service felt rushed, they close at 3pm for some reason and we got there at 2pm that day we went. The guy kept asking us after we ate our food, if we were ready to leave and would like the check immediately after we finished the two plates. My advice, be quiet and let me relax and enjoy what I just consumed. It was about 2:50 pm and were just paid and left as quickly as possible. They did overcharge us for the dinner portions even though we were there before dinner was served. They reopen later at night for dinner. Overall, food was fatty, greasy, tasty and small portioned. I didn't like the service that much, but the food was decent quality. The price however, was not fairly priced for customers given the size of the meal. No meal in my opinion with a small plate of pad Thai and pad see ew should ever be over $20 and the additional 4$ for seafood was not worth it. Yes, the shrimp and calamari were delicious, but it was not a whole lot. I went and got some ice cream after since I was hungry still. Inside was spacious and clean, the service was fast but also rushed. Value of food was not worth the price tag. Overall, I have mixed feelings about mom can cook. Should have renamed it something else considering no moms were inside cooking.

I used to love going here for dine-in or take out, but I was surprised with the way we were presented with our bill. They handed us the bill like usual, but after we gave them our card to pay, instead of the server giving us a receipt and then us writing the tip amount or letting us leave cash, the waitress handed us a touch screen device asking how much we wanted to tip. My first thought was this isn’t chipotle or some fast-food place. This is a restaurant where people want to enjoy their experience. Instead of leaving the device with us, the waitress stood there with the device in her hand waiting for us to make a decision. I always tip well, but this situation felt very pushy and forced. I realized the whole experience overall felt very rushed as well. This was enough to make me not want to return. I don’t understand why places feel the need to enforce changes like that when they operated without a tipping device for all those years before.

I went here with my family to try a new place. The waiter added something to our menu with us asking for it, they sneaked in. Then I got the check I paid cash and was given the wrong cheange in purpose, he kept the recite when he came so he thought I didn't remember what the total was. The food was ok but the waiter was dishonest.

I wanted to like this place and ordered 2 different dishes . The Panang curry is very heavy on the peanut sauce and didn’t hit the spot. Vegetables taste like they came from a can. Curry also doesn’t come with rice which is weird. Ive never had a curry without rice before . Pad see ew was very basic and was kinda sweet and the noodles were overcooked. Overall it wasn’t a good experience. I had food from here once before and I thought it was decent but maybe the management changed?
