Walked in from the street for five dollar pizza. Used to Come a lot.. The guy told me it would be 20 minutes. I walked in there 10 minutes later and he's just putting the pizza in the oven. Dude had nothing to do but fixes a grater so he did that instead of making my pizza, that's not cool. When I called him out on it, he told me goodbye. Have a nice day. No wonder they have zero business on national pizza day. I couldn't believe he waited 10 Minutes to even start it! Loser place! No sense of priority or Urgency. Dead dead no business! Drive past this dive!!!

I visited this pizza place for the second time, and just like my first experience, everything was great. I particularly love the crust and the perfect amount of cheese they use. just the right amount that I like, which sets them apart from some other pizza places I've been to. What impressed me the most was their attention to detail - they followed my instructions to the point. But the best part is that they cut the pizzas all the way through, so I don't have to fight for every slice, and I can enjoy my meal without the hassle. I definitely recommend this place to all pizza lovers

Dont let the store front fool you. Pizza is good. Inside could be decorated a bit, maybe fresh paint on the walls, some nice rug in the lobby. Maybe a bigger, prettier menu on the wall. Besides that the pizza is delicious. Will return on my lunch breaks again.

I had to try this. I noticed in a review picture that they use traditional pizza deck ovens, not those conveyor types that many chain places have been using more and more. They made the pizza fresh as soon as I ordered. It was really good. I wanted to eat a slice right away, but ended up eating three on the way home. I'll be back. The service was fast, but again with those ovens, this was not that fast food chain pizza taste. Some of the best pizza I've had comes from these places that don't have fancy restaurant ambiance. They also don't have the fancy restaurant prices.

Been eating pizza here for many years. i recommend trying the carne asada pizza, you won't find it anywhere else and it is my favorite Prices are always good and much better than other places, will keep coming back

I visit this pizzeria today, for a quick take out and this is my time, my experience was awesome, family owned, they are friendly. The two pizzas are delicious freshly made and on time. They throw in MeatPie for me being my first time. The Tuscan chicken and BBQ chicken pizza were amazing. We enjoyed the pizzas and meat pie. I will definitely be coming back and recommend this Venice Pizzeria for people. The pizza is really good for the price. We find a handcrafted pizza.

Just awful This is stop three on my journey to try every pizza place in SCV. First of all I have to talk about the bizzare interior of this place. You walk in to a tiny pickup room with a couple of stools and a counter that has a completely open view into the kitchen. The kitchen itself is like nothing I have ever seen in my years of working in kitchens and going to restaurants. The kitchen is a good size but the entire floor is just unutilized. There is ovens on one side and prep tables on the other but the middle is just empty. This isnt factored into my review but I had to bring it up just because it was so weird. Now for the pizza: 0 stars I got an XXL pie but when I opened it I thought it seemed small. I got out the measuring tape and it turns out that it was about 2 inches smaller than it should have been. Maybe that doesnt seem like a lot but if you do the math you realize that that 2 inches actually makes the pizza only 63% the size it should be. I can see them saving a lot of money by doing this and most people not noticing. But maybe that smaller size was a blessing in disguise because this pizza sucked. Despite ordering the normal crust I would describe what I got as much closer to thin crust. There was barely any toppings and what there was wasnt the best. The sauce was decent at least. However, the biggest problem with this pizza wasnt the taste but the aftermath. Both me and my BF were messed up for the entire week after eating this pizza. The day afterwards I was running to the bathroom every 20 minutes all day at my job for the hershey squirts and even 5 days later whenever I would go number 2 it would be pure liquid. My bf had more slices the next day against my recommendation and he had problems for even longer. Even if this was the best tasting pizza I had ever had I could never ever recommend it and I really hope that the owners of this place see this and check up on their food saftey. Garlic Breadsticks: 0 stars Upon opening these I was really looking forward to them because they looked absolutely delicious even if they were a little bit burnt on top. However, upon biting into them I was met with a crunch and then... nothing. The insides of these breadsticks were completely hollow! See the attached pic you can see they were literally just shells of air. The flavor was also awful it just tasted like awful fake butter and fake garlic. I ate one and my bf ate 2 and then we tore the other ones in half to see if they were all hollow. They were. After this they all went into the trash. I really hate to give a local place a bad review but I cannot in good faith give this place above a 1 star. I would give it 0 if that was an option. I really hope this place can change but for now I hope everyone who reads this stays far away. This going to last place in my ranking for SCV pizza places and I don't see that ever changing.
