The service was quick, and staff were very friendly. We had a dog with us and staff was very nice to it. All the fries were seasoned well and made with just the right amount of crispness. The Biddy Burger is on the kids menu, but is still really filling. The decorations inside were so interesting, fun, and cute!

The fries and shakes are the real heroes here.The staff has always been welcoming and friendly when we are there.We are not rushed and the service is prompt without being intrusive.

don't come here, they steal tips for shit service as well as not give you your full order and makes you lose brain cells. i went on the 24th of February around 1:00 pm. we were visiting Santa Cruz. we show up find out the card or Togo machine doesn't accept cash i politely ask Reece if I can order through her mind you on the machine when I ordered it was 35$ but when I ordered through her it was 38.7ish$ and I'm like huh okay. she gives me back a receipt that doesn't show what I ordered just total and cash tendered. and the bottom says 20% tips=38.78$ and I'mlike huh . meaning she took extra tips which I would've gladly given her had she just asked...but it's the fact she just copied the order off the machine and took cash from my hand and said here and gave me my receipt thats literally it? so there was no service to tip regardless... anyways. we ordered 2 combos and 2 large drinks . and they gave us 2 small drinks and when asked they got a bit defensive and next table they had large drinks already and it was Togo? but I didn't say anything because I thought whatever wasn't going to let it ruin the trip. but then i get the burgers and has no fries? and i ask another bartender/runner (she had pigtails in case you review the footage) "hi did this not come with fries?" and they go "no new policy" and i went "just to clarify this was 40$ 2 burgers and 2 large/small drinks?" she's like "uhm yeah i don't make the prices sorry " in the most condescending/sarcastic tone and proceeds to roll her eyes at me. so not only was I scammed out of tips for shitty service but I was also given 2 small drinks when ordered large as well as no fries? for 40 bucks. yeah no. this location made me lose faith in all humanity . please don't come here

We were walking around down town Santa Cruz and worked up an appetite for a burger.We stopped in at Betty Burgers and I’m so happy we did. The ambience is so fun and hip.The service was top notch. We were seated right away, orders taken promptly and it wasn’t long for food to arrive.We ordered 4 different burgers. All of us loved the one we got. We also ordered the cheese curds and artichoke hearts both were amazing.Oh, and then we shared an adult milk shake the coffee one and it was delicious.I absolutely recommend this establishment if you are walking through and need a bite to eat.
Nice that they cater to keto diet. Well that was my thought 4 years ago. It was a 4.Now 2-23-24. We went for Burger week. Got the brie burger and mix fries and onion rings. Super disappointed. Burger meat was very small, dry and over cooked. Bacon was raw. Fries were good. But the onion rings were cooked at low temp oil so they were super oily!

The best burgers in town in my opinion. I like my meat rare and they do such a great job. In 10 years I never got sick from ordering it this way which is HUGE in the restaurant business. The meat isn't frozen which is a ***** plus. I love Betty's lube!!! Yum Yum Yum! I've seen lots of staff through the years and in my personal opinion the customer service meets or exceeds other popular restaurants. The staff at the moment is really accommodating and quick on their feet. Again if you like your burger "made to order" go to Betty's!

We sat at the bar and had a cheeseburger & fries combo with local Pilsner craft beer.The cheeseburger was served quickly and done perfectly. It has a large assortment of burger and lunch choices on the menu.The location is right off the outdoor mall. You can get a booth, table or sit at the bar. There is a spacious dining room. The place is comfortable with WiFi. Good for groups or soloThey have a few other locations that I have been and the food, service is consistent for all.

Really bad customer service. Jesse the server had an attitude and bad customer service. We ask to take out but tables outside were empty and I thought we could eat there. Then he scream to me and my children. "Take out are to go specially on Friday night ". I was going to order more food just but the bad attitude of that guy , just lost business because he was giving poor customer service. Instead of yelling to me, he should come talk to me and let me know I'm sorry you need a table ? The place was not even busy. I have children with autism and that's why I order ahead of time because they are impatient. To the owner please make sure you take care of your business if the servers don't want to work then get other people that cares for theirs customer.

Great authentic burger place. We got the Basic Betty (with American cheese) and curly fries along with the Smokin' Betty. Both burgers were delicious, well paired with their sauces and toppings. All fries were great! Service was really good, since we sat outside on their patio we got to bring out dog, which is a major plus!

Honestly i love Betty's. All of them here in Santa Cruz County. But i will never go back to this Betty's again. On the 21st, my boyfriend & i invited a friend to eat at Bettys to celebrate their birthday (their birthday tradition is to have a burger & a shake). We were seated right away and got our food on good time. We all ordered the usual burger & fries & 2 milkshakes & wings, every thing was good. Total came out to $80+ (typical Downtown price), we paid separately & evenly, & left. We weren't even 20 feet away & we were chased down by our waitress. She was calling for us, asking why we didn't tip enough, if she did something wrong. She even brought our tabs to us to add more tip! So embarrassing, she was so loud & being rude. My friend, being an easy pushover started to add more to his tab but i had to stop him. I was speechless so i gave her $10 in cash so she can leave us alone & not ruin our friend's birthday. But too late she did... Look, i worked as a waitress on the wharf. I get it. We don't get paid enough & tips are a big bonus & we love them. There have been times i got $1 to nothing on tips, & i never got butt hurt & NEVER chased a customer to give more tip! Appreciate what you get! In CA tipping isn't even required... if you stand out & are amazing, people tip good. Not gunna lie, our hostess was alright but not super outstanding that we're gunna shower her with a fat tip on top of a $80+ tab for burgers. Shame, I've been coming to Bettys since i was a teen & loved bringing out of town friends & family here, but this totally blew me off...

the food was pretty good , we got there at around 8:15 pm before closing and our serve only took our order and brought drinks and had another employee bring out our food well after we were done eating we paid in card and didn’t leave tip on card ( we usually tip in cash before leaving ) but your gal server came up to us and asked why we didn’t tip ? we hadn’t even finished cleaning up our mess before she handed us the check back asking about a tip before leaving but we found that rude , I didn’t know tipping was expected and we still tipped in cash and in card after that altercation . won’t be coming back :( definitely felt forced too tip !!! we thought she was joking , we would had rather tip the person that had brought us our food and dipping sauces , don’t know how she wasn’t embarrassed because we felt very much embarrassed and put on the spot :( !!!
