Friendly but a bit noisy. Unfortunately not enough tables for a rainy day. Still worth it!

They greeted us as soon as we walked in. Recommended the whip cream and marshmallows for our kid’s hot cocoa. Kids loved the ham and cheese croissant and coffee cake. Loved the open space, large windows, communal tables, and artwork. Will be back again!

The burritos are great, but the wait is not. We used to come here every single week. But the wait has gotten worse and worse. We literally waited 50 minutes for a burrito that never came. It’s not a 5 star sit down restaurant, it’s a coffee shop. we ended up getting a refund and leaving. It’s too bad they can’t get a simple system down to speed up the process - burritos simply shouldn’t take this long.

The food is really better than you expect from a coffee shop. We always have the breakfast burritos, one with bacon and one veggie. They are delicious and solid food. We plan to try some of the other choices but never seem to get to them.Vegetarian options: My wife always has the veggie breakfast burrito. I've tried it an enjoyed it as well. They cater to vegetarians more than a lot of quick and easy cafes probably do.Dietary restrictions: There will be something for any diet, and they take the food seriously here so it will be worth eating, not a weak offering.Parking: It's a short stroll to the plentiful parking area at the rear of the building.Kid-friendliness: The crowd tends to be college-agey but kids fit right in although they might enjoy the outdoor seating as the interior is a bit cramped and usually full.Wheelchair accessibility: There's a large concrete sidewalk most people end up using to access the somewhat remote parking arrangments, but obstructions are few.

I've been going to cat and cloud regularly. Every time I order a breakfast burrito it takes a minimum of 25 minutes. I'm not exaggerating, I time it. More often its 30-40 minutes. You're probably asking why I keep going back? Well the burrito itself is amazing. One of the best breakfast burritos in town. However, I don't think it's worth the time anymore. What bothers me more is that they don't inform you that it's going to be a wait. Maybe they think they'll lose money? Better to set clear expectations from the start, customers will be less upset when it is a long wait because at least they know what they are in for.

Not going to lie, with a name with "cat" in it, I was really excited to try this place for the name alone. Unfortunately, their matcha latte was not as stellar as their name. It came in a pre-made mix with sweetener, so much so that it was undrinkable. The croissant was good, but had to go across the street to get a good latte to drink it with.

Enjoyed our star shaped cheese filled crunchy poppy seed topped pastry. Best hot chocolate I've had in years. I absolutely ? love the furniture and lighting store nearby - Illuminé

This compared to the experiences at the Cat and Cloud off 41st this was an awful experience. We along with the couple in front of us have been waiting for 45 mins for a breakfast burrito. We could see them piled up on the griddle for at least 30 mins. The staff was so unapologetic as we nicely approached them about it.

Came here on a quest to find new coffee spots in Santa Cruz. I was greeted by such a kind barista and I ordered a hot chai latte with oatmilk! The space was so cute and very open with lots of natural light. The drink itself was pretty sweet so I'd maybe ask for a pump less of sweetener but otherwise it was one of the best chais I've had in a long time! Can't wait to try out the other menu options :)

Absolute wonderful food, the first time I got some food here (the burrito was fantastic), and incredible coffee. I’ll definitely be back again :)) highly recommend this place.

Food - We came on Thanksgiving morning and ordered the Turkish eggs, the seasonal apple waffle, and a flat white. Turkish Eggs - 5/5. I have NEVER had Turkish eggs before but this changed my life. The yogurt was so rich and flavorful and paired perfectly with the garlic oil and poached egg with a perfectly runny egg yolk. The bread served with it was perfectly toasted and crisp and the entire combination was just unexpected and perfect.Seasonal apple waffle - 4.5/5. Everything about this was perfect, the crispness of the waffle, the flavor of the crumble, the amount of apple, and the syrup to pair with it. The only thing I felt was missing from making this absolutely perfect was that it didn't have whipped cream and I feel like some fresh cream would have been a good contrast to the sweetness and richness of the other flavors.Coffee - 5/5. My sister ordered a flat white which I tried a bit of and it was phenomenal! Service - 5/5. As mentioned, I came on Thanksgiving morning, and even though it was a holiday for everybody, the workers were still super friendly and accommodating. Ambiance - 5/5. The weather was absolutely amazing when we came and they have ample seating both inside and outside with lovely outdoor lighting and a serene neighborhood surrounding the cafe.
