Food is authentic and made to order. Small place which does have its own parking lot, walking distance to the pier and boardwalk. Order at the counter and self serve from there. Always busy and fills up fast. An established business that doesn't disappoint every time!

Mexican place by the beach! The vibes were super chill inside and the workers were really nice and friendly. We got a super burrito and it was BIG! considering the price I thought it was very affordable but I would give 4 stars because the burrito was so big the wrapping was not the best.. The burrito kind of fell apart as we were eating! But what was inside really hit. their pork and beef were so tender and flavourful, the rice was good and there was also avocado and lettuce! However the lettuce reminded me of taco bell lettuce. We also got some taquitos which were really good. Four dollars for two taquitos and guacamole kinda fireeeee. I just wouldn't reconvened the burritos at this place to anyone. maybe other menu items here would be better!!!

Came here after hearing rave reviews, even with some people saying it's their favorite Mexican restaurant in Santa Cruz. After taking one bite of the burrito, my group of friends could not disagree more. Firstly, this is not authentic Mexican food. Santa Cruz in general had a problem with the Mexican food not being that good, but this place takes the cake. It tastes like overpriced Taco Bell. Honestly, you should go to Taco Bell instead. It'll save you money and taste better than here. The line took forever to order, but I will say that it took them maybe less than 5 minutes to come out with our food (which may explain why it was not good...). The refried beans were watered down, I had to spit out the salsa, the guac was flavorless. All I tasted in my burrito was the lettuce and flavorless rice. Inside also included a lot of pro-Jesus & military centered decor, which left an interesting (to say the least) impression.

This place gave my daughter severe food poisoning. I've reported them to the health department and hope they get closed down. The owner needs to ground himself and be taught humility. This place is hanging on a thread, selling spoiled food is vile and a desperate measure to survive. I read the owner offers "Rice and beans" for free to the homeless? Feeding the most vulnerable people spoiled food is demonic. Knowing the quality of the food you sell should warrant jail time.

This little wooden beach hut was a real treasure. The food was very good, plenty of spice and flavour with generous portions. The salsa in particular we loved. Really reasonably priced.
Salsa was spicy and hitting. Horchata exquisite. Staff friendly. What more do you want?

Delicious!! Great food, reasonable prices. I tried the beef enchilada plate with rice and beans. The enchilada saice was very good. I love green salsa. Staff is soo friendly, the gentlemen was kind enough to get my order started a few minutes before they opened. I really appreciated that. It was nice sitting outdoor patio in the warm sun.
