No place for a vegetarian. There is nothing vegan at all and a horrible overpriced lacto ovo bread pudding as an entree! Very few mushrooms and so easy and simple to make. They were out of three of the deserts early on a Saturday night and service extremely slow and uneven for the price.The miso asparagus inedibly salty. Can't believe this place is so busy. Must be the drinks.

The appetizer pictured was really good. It was a bit much for an appetizer so I couldn't finish my dinner. It was like eating breakfast right before dinner. But it was tasty. I'd go back just for that. I had the brisket for dinner, which was also very good. The place was nearly empty, yet they squeezed us next to another table right by the kitchen. So now I hate them. There a parking garage close by but it gets a lot of traffic. Beware the homeless sleeping in the stairwell. They're harmless. Just don't trip stepping over them.

We went early and had a 5 year old. While it's not great for kids, the Mac and cheese was a hit. The food was awesome otherwise and the cocktails were great. Can recommend the sous vided chicken and the mushroom bread pudding. We went early and had reservations so I'm not sure what the wait is like. We were some of the first seated for the night. The service was great. The atmosphere in the early afternoon is plain but I could see it picking up really well with more people adding energy. Will go again.Vegetarian options: The menu is small overall but there were vegetarian options besides French fries.

The food leaves a lot to be desired, the brisket very dry, the duck very, very bad; The fatty part is not crunchy, they served it at low temperature, it had to be returned a couple of times to be reheated.Very expensive for what they offer and for what it was.

The food was outstanding starting with the cocktails, appetizer of crispy fried calamari on a bed of frisee, endive salad, perfectly cooked salmon and beef brisket, and tasty dessert. This is a local treasure for its high quality food and excellent service.

This was our first time at Oswald and we would definitely go back! The food and drinks were delicious, the service was great, and the atmosphere was casual and lively. Not cheap, but worth it!
Food was exceptional and cocktails delicious. Friendly staff and great service. Waitress wasn't afraid to make recommendations and they were all spot on. Pricey but on par with everything else these days.

Say something like I love the bar setting at this restaurant. Not only does it boast a couple top notch bar tenders, there is always an eclectic group of people to visit with and a yummy cup of soup and delicious martini. Great place to go after a movie. Even as a single!

Very good place, good service. They only bad thing is that they close in the middle of the day, I went around 3 and they were closed, so they open for lunch and then close at 2 or 3 and then reopen at 5. They should figure out a way to stay open, many people eat late lunch or early dinner.
