Perfect local Santa Cruz diner. The food and especially burgers are fantastic. The brisket sandwich will change your life and don’t pass on the jalapeños! 16 mostly local beers on tap and every brand of bourbon you can imagine. Service is most excellent as well. Don’t miss it!

Overall the pizza was good. We had the wings with mango-sambal. Good flavor, but it could have been crispier! We also got the k-pig! Very delicious including the crust. We wish bottom was a little more crispier but it was overall a good pizza. With a beer and tip it turned out to be about $85

I've been a long time patron of the ESE & wanted to share that in recent visits, the food, drinks and service just continue to improve! The upgraded bar & drink selection is fantastic (Skinny margarita with tajin rim is my fave), best wings in town and their burgers never disappoint! The outdoor seating is divine on a warm summer evening.....

Clam chowder was lukewarm and waiter did not offer to re heat or replace or even not charge us for it! In fact waiter never returned to our table until we had to do a major flag-down to get his attention. Live nearby but unlikely to ever return due to apathetic service and zero interest in the customer experience. Would have given zero stars if possible.
