Hammocks are cool but it's a pretty small space, and its dark. This is more of a social setting than a "study" cafe. My drink was full of a lot of interesting things.......

Great place to relax and have some nice drinks, I tried two drinks, one bro g the emperor’s elixir which was delicious. They had a wide selection of drinks and one could easily be confused on what to order but they had tarot card readings that would help you pick a drink that day. How fun! I took some help from the tarot cards and was not at all disappointed. The vibe was super cool with hammocks all around to chill.

The dandelion cappuccino was really good. I recommend it for anyone who has a sensitive stomach it's rlly soothing and tasted good (kind of marshmallowy). Also the hammocks were sm fun and there's an upstairs area so there are plenty of hammocks even if it gets busy. We had a lot of fun.

Walking into this Cafe, I was immediately struck by the ambiance and music. This place definitely has a laid back and relaxing vibe to it - I mean cmon, the place has hammocks! It's a great place to do some light productive work or strike up a conversation with friends. Speaking of conversation, you'll have plenty to talk about when looking over the menu. There are several menus here which can be quite overwhelming at first, but it is easy to pick out what you want since they are organized clearly. Not to mention, each menu itself is a work of art. The drinks on the menu are the star of the show here. You'll find some of the most exotic ingredients & herbs that are mixed together in some of the most intriguing concoctions I've ever seen. We ordered the Wolfsbane and the Wander Lust. The Wolfsbane tasted amazing, spot on piña colada. This drink gives you a floaty, relaxing feeling. The Wander Lust was a bit stronger with complex flavors of fruit blended with early undertones. The menu said to get full effect, you should drink it fast, but I couldn't help but sip it slowly and really enjoy the flavor of each sip! The feeling I got from the Wander Lust was a clearheaded and intoxicating feeling, and all I wanted to do was strike up an interesting conversation. Overall I really loved the decor, drinks, and music. Would highly recommend this for anyone with some time to relax and hang out in downtown Santa Cruz!

I'm sad that I have to give 1 star to this place, but the owner and manager need to pay attention to their staff. I really enjoyed going to Roxa, and I always wanted to take all my friends there. The last two times that I went there they provided the worst service of my life. I do not know why those girls are working there if they don't enjoy what they are doing. The last time I went there was January second and I took a bunch of friends that came from Los Angeles to spend New Years here in town. I was very excited talking about the place and the cool drinks that they offer. When we got there was around 8pm and there was only girl working there, and the first thing that she said was that they were closing at 9pm, but nobody asked her. I also asked her if she could explain about the drinks to my friends and she said that the menu was very self explanatory. I felt so bad and embarrassed because I was saying good things about Roxa Cafe to my friends and they had that bad experience there. When we started ordering our stuff, she looked angry and pretty much telling us to hurry up. She also said one more time that the place closes at 9pm. Please don't kill the good vibes of this cafe, I don't wanna go there until the management realizes that their staff has been acting very rude with their clients. And, I'm not going to recommend this place to anyone anymore.

The spot is like nowhere else. The girl at the front knows her stuff! Drinks are delicious and weird (in a "keep SC weird way). Not going to lie, had some intense dreams from whatever I ordered. What a great idea though and a rad spot to hang that doesnt involve drinking alcohol.

I drove 1.5 hrs to go here....TWICE! Haha. At first it was just for the hammocks you can sit on in the cafe. But then I discovered their eclectic, fun, and healthy elixirs. They have something for everyone, for every mood, for every occasion. And if you can't decide, they will help you customize it. I love that they use natural supplements like mushroom coffee or teas with burdock root for your kidneys. Stuff like that excites me! lol. The ambiance is relaxing with patrons enjoying swinging in hammocks over convo or over reading a book. I could spend hours here!

Pretty mixed review. The ambiance is really interesting with the hammocks and witchy theme. It's fun to sit/swing on them but if there are people around you, they might bump into you and it's annoying if others aren't being considerate. Otherwise, the aesthetics are great! The disappointing part was the food. We got a medium sized açaí bowl (was huge) and a smoothie. Both tasted extremely just ok and was waaaay overpriced. The total for both was over $30. Cute place but wouldn't come again.

Normally I leave good reviews but this place disappointed me so much.. I mean come on… the açaí bowls are absolutely incredibly overpriced. $17 for a tiny bowl that comes with hard frozen açaí purée and some dry granola crumbles and hard almond butter. I can have a full meal for that price somewhere else. Absolutely below average flavor and texture. Would recommend Amazon juices or Jamba Juice for half the price and better value. From what I saw on the menu the other drink options are very expensive, too, so… Mhh wouldn’t come here again.
