First time visitor. Food was superb. two pastas and a steak for ravenous grandson. small and intimate. Very family friendly. All other tables were socially interacting. Quite impressive. Waitperson was so accommodating as well.

What a gem. You would not think this place was so awesome when you see it from the outside. Don't judge a book by its cover. Absolutely fantastic place. Food is awesome. And the service is awesome — so friendly!! Incredible— feel good place.

They have a good thing going on here. Don't let the chef leave, they are good. Came with my family. Our server was a kind woman who went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of and brought coloring supplies for our girls (not just a sheet but full coloring books). The food was outstanding. The kids meny food was so good, they aren't dumbing it down or cutting corners, instead exposing children to great technique. They brought us little freebie appetizers which is always a nice touch. We sat on the patio on a nice day and I couldn't have asked for more.

Seafood pasta!! We discovered this place a couple of years ago, and now come here whenever we are in Santa Cruz & get the seafood pasta in alfredo every time because it is GOOD. So flavorful. We usually go in early around 5 and get decent service before the crowd shows up, but this time we went in later around 7pm & service wasn't good. The restaurant was full at this point, but there were 2 specific 4-6 person tables that our server tended to immediately as they called on her that we waited 30 minutes for a straw and to put in our food order. It doesn't seem like a lot, but when your server walks by you multiple times & you've already known what you want it feels like forever. Me sitting there waiting thought ok those bigger tables = bigger tip so then we get slow service because it's only 2 of us? Time is money. And of course as soon as those 2 tables left we received more attentive service.

One of the places that popped up when I searched for dog-friendly restaurants in Santa Cruz and what a find!! It's a cute little place located right at the intersection of May Ave and Water Street and there is ample parking behind the restaurant. Shelly, who attended us, was so kind and welcoming! She had some great suggestions for us. The food here is absolutely delicious! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the Artichoke Hearts and Bourbon Street Chicken and Shrimp. Serving size is good for two. We wanted to try their tempting spread of desserts but we were sooo full. Will definitely come back!

Just a terrific diamond in the rough type of place. Inviting, relaxing, foods terrific, local place that's been around for a while. We live in the area and it's one of our favorites. Check it out, no dissapointments.

The food here was AMAZING. We had a Caesar salad (sooo fresh and good) and the shrimp pasta. I can't even explain how good it was. Our waitress was nice, but she looked at us like we were absolutely crazy when we asked for extra salad dressing. (For some reason, a huge salad for two people is only served with two tiny cups of dressing?) The restaurant is super cute with good ambiance, but the tables are super close together. I guess that is common in California. Anyway the food was perfect, so I definitely would recommend this place.

We are from out of the area and were looking for an intimate dinner restaurant and this place exceeded our expectations. The food was cooked to perfection. And the service here was excellent and attentive. From start to finish we weren't disappointed. Highly recommend and we can't wait to come back and visit.
