Great coffee, a bit of an LA vibe in Santa Cruz but other than that will definitely go back. Nice counterperson BTW.

To the lady working behind the counter this afternoon who gave me two bandaids, my sincerest thank you! You are a classy person and although I forgot your name, I will never forget your smile. May the universe continue to bless you for your warmth and kindness. Much gratitude and appreciation. :-)

Stopped by here on the way to Capitola at 9am on a Tuesday. There was a lot of people getting their coffee/tea fix. The line was not too long when I arrived as many people have already put down their order and was just waiting to pick up their drinks. I was a bit overwhelmed with what to choose and had asked for suggestions from the cashier. One of the choices was a Oat Vanilla Latte. Since it was a bit chilly that day, I decided to go for the hot version (they have an iced version). I was very satisfied with the cashiers suggestion. I really enjoyed my drink! The wait for the drink was a little bit long but it is what is expected for a popular place. A good cup of coffee always require time to make.

Very slow service and expensive. 2 cakes and 2 coffee 22 usd. Took 20 min and one coffee was cold. There were 4 people behind the counter and themed ro be chatting more than dealing with delays.

I got a vanilla latte so yum!!! Cute place they were open on Christmas Bless them. The avocado toast looked so good I was catching myself salivating at my fellow patrons plates The matcha latte isn't sweet atall I'd recommended a few pumps of vanilla unless you're used to that it's probably lovely.

I’ve been to this coffee shop once prior but this time I wanted to be sure to leave a five star review. We dropped in to wait for family members to complete the Wharf to Wharf run and met some amazing local people while we sat at the tables. It’s funny how good service and great local company can make a place amazing and that’s certainly true for Verve. Yes, the coffee and food are good but it’s more about community and this place serves community up perfectly.I don’t come into Santa Cruz as often as I’d like but Verve is on the “must do” list whenever I’m in the area.Michael DelehantyCompass Real EstateVegetarian options: Always options at coffee shops.
I usually order a chai or matcha & they have a few milk alternatives too. The breakfast sandwich was good.

Really bummed they changed all their hours, so now people with real jobs can't enjoy Verve in the evenings. Hopefully, they can find the economics to be open until 7-8pm, especially during the chilly holiday season, where enjoying a cup of coffee or tea, and a chat, is so nice after work.

Not dog friendly. My puppy was in a travel kennel under a table inside, but I was told to leave cos he is not a service animal. Very disappointed.

My #1 favorite coffee roasters of all time. Love affair started in downtown Oakland circa 2012 and has come full circle to the brick and mortar shops back in Capitola and Pacific Ave. I treasure any opportunity to try a new roast, have some in an ice cream (Penny's) or sip on some fresh ground at home. Top tier quality beans and drinks.
