Such a hidden gem! It's right next to a 7-eleven in a small lot. Genuinely some of the best sushi I've had anywhere (I like to travel and have been to Japan). The two sushi chefs at the counter are very pleasant and masters at their craft. I've tried Omakase and I also ordered a la carte. My favorite pieces here are Ootoro, Salmon Belly, and Unagi. Prices are also very reasonable given the high quality sushi. The fish tastes fresh and it will melt in your mouth. If you're in the area and like sushi, this is a must go to place.

Very fresh fish. My kids are the real critics. One said the salmon and avocado are creamy and the other said they melt in your mouth. I couldn't agree more. Plus I had the spicy tuna roll that isn't burning your mouth spicy but just have enough kick to it so you still tasted the tuna.

Good ambiance, get their early for easy parking. Very small strip mall. It is very clean and simple decor inside. They have fresh fish not frozen. That’s one of the first things I look for. It is pricey but you get what you pay for. I would definitely recommend, especially if you want chill vibe and not have long waits

Wow... this place is AMAZINGLY delicious, has exceptional service, great quality fresh fish, and beautiful clean presentation. It was my first time dining here today. I typically go to another sushi restaurant near by on the other side of La Mirada weekly but I absolutely found my new favorite weekly spot! They were so nice and food was quick to arrive at table even as sushi was all made to order with quality and care. The fish was so fresh it was like rich melting butter melting in my mouth. I would recommend eating here if you want great quality sushi locally if you live in La Mirada area. I would drive from far just to come here if I lived far. Now I'm going to do my weekly sushi orders from this place! Can't wait to go back for more and being all my friends and family!

Omakase, if you love sushi... you have to do it. 100% worth every penny. This is the second time I've came here (first being the picture below with the lemon salmon roll & rosecrans roll which were also great!) and all I can say is I've definitely found a place with great staff, amazing food and at decent pricing. Some people may think it's a little pricey but it's well worth the money. I took my friend here early and we both had an amazing time. We both ordered Omakase and the sushi chef was so awesome going through each item he prepared, talking to us about the fish where it came from, which order to try it, previous experiences he had with sushi as well as asking us about ours and it was just an all around amazing experience we had with the sushi chef. We left like we had just finished leaving a friends house for diner only with big smiles on our faces from the delicious sushi we had been given. Definitely can't wait to come back again & again. I only wish I had taken pictures of the experience but we were so into it it didn't cross my mind to take pictures. Even better, check it out for yourself!

Was really happy to find this hole in the wall in this part of town. The owner/chef and staff were very friendly and welcoming which made the experience really enjoyable. The chefs really want to make sure you've enjoyed your food and wants us to taste each dish the way it was served, as it should be traditionally, so he would remind us each time that no soy sauce was needed. Everything tasted excellent which tells you that the fish was really fresh and the prices were very reasonable! They have an excellent variety and I can't wait to go back! The chef even brought us the torched salmon belly nigiri on the house! A very nice gesture and we left very happy and satisfied. I can't wait to dine here again!

Don't want to blow up this spot but highly recommend. Service, chefs and food is great and it's the only legit sushi spot around the area. Excellent shari and specials. Note: You have to turn into the 7-Eleven plaza as it's a small hole in the wall in that corner.

I never had a delicious tempura before, the experience was mind blowing! The place has flavorful blue crab hand rolls, amazing service. High quality pickled ginger & wasabi. Their Yuzu drink is also refreshing. This place is good for the area!

Just amazing! This is the second round of Omakase. Fish is so fresh, just amount of seasoning, fatty and soft! it was just mixed with the well-cooked rice in my mouth so smoothly and gave me a full of joy. Have a wonderful time with my daughter. This is our favorite restaurant forever. Bonus: chefs and servers are so nice and friendly all the time.

Wow talk about finding a hidden gem, I was searching for sushi today because my kitchen was being remodeled and saw this place for the first time and I am so glad I stopped by. The chefs were amazing and their final recommendation if the super duo was the cherry on top to make this a phenomenal omakase experience. I can't wait to be back with my family and friends.
