I always order menudo. Taste is always blan but hey i can add my own seasonings. But today it was too spicey and it was mixed with another kind of meat Im assuming birria which i do not not like.

The food was ok. Two Carnitas tacos, $4.99 each. Very tiny tacos. They were good. Came with beans and rice. Beans were dry. Ordered the Mexican cheese cake. Very, dry. Not sure if I would go back. The Birria ramen was good. Not enough ramen thoughI ordered the Choco-flan. It was 5.50. I got 2 little circles about the size of an Oreo cookie. What a waste of money!!

Hole in the wall place. TWO things that stand out, there chips and salsa AND their service!There salsa isn't spicy, but packs a lot of flavor! I could the chips and salsa all day long! Ended up getting a CA burrito, little different than what I've had in the past, but would definitely come here again!

I just found out about this place recently. It’s sooooo good. The food is always so tasty. The salsa they add to the tacos is spicy so be aware but it’s so flavorful. Love this place!

I went here when they first opened but I haven't gone back yet. But I totally forgot to write a review.When we heard about this place and we went here right away. Love going to New local places It was 1030AM. Right when they opened. I wasn't hungry yet, but we had to try something. So my friend got a kids Quesadilla and a horchata. I got a side of beans. It was really good! Very authentic. Everything was just right. A lot of places make beans way too salty or the horchata too sweet. They are still getting things rolling in there, butI still recommend going. l'Il be going back when l'm hungry enough for a full meal!UPDATE:I did go back for a full meal. I got a burrito and I really liked it. My hubby got enchiladas, I think. He wasn't a huge fan. But I still have high hopes for them!! I want them to stick around!
We wanted to try their chili rellanos but when we stopped by at noonish on Tuesday they said they hadn't made them yet so they weren't available. I don't know exactly how to make a rating for this situation and I can't post it without a star rating

The food is so well prepared spices are on point and portions are big. We bought 2 barria tacos and now have to buy 16 at a time because they are so good. The staff is super friendly......you must give this small restaurant a try! We always get the food to go as the dining area is small. Any night is a good night if you have delicious tacos we might have to buy 20 next time to share with our friends.

Tacos, tacos, tacos! If you love tacos, you will love this restaurant. I've only ever gotten delivery from here, but I will tell you that each time we have ordered tacos from Nena's they have always been amazing. My husband gets the shredded chicken tacos with just chicken and lettuce and I like to get different types of tacos and try everything out. Everything we have tasted so far especially the Carnitas has been delicious. The meats are full of flavor, but are not overpowering. The employees are very good about following any specific requests and instructions that you have and their menu is detailed enough to know exactly what you were getting. If you were ever in Orcutt, California, this is a fun stop to make.
