Probably my favorite açaí bowl. I’am a açaí lover so I do try a lot of different places but this is really good. Special mention to the Power Bowl with a special mix of açaí, banana, blueberry, peanut butter, pea, protein, hemp mylk that make the base being so yummy and creamy. I highly recommend this place and will give a 5 stars.

The lady that took our order gave us a blank stare like she was wss annoyed at our presence throughout the ordering process. Otherwise, I would have given 5 stars. My girlfriend said the same when she visited two weeks later. The issue is she's all smiles to customers of other races.

Super good acai bowls with large portions! Fruits were fresh, there was a lot of toppings and it was delicious. They have sizes like regular or large. It is a bit on the expensive side with a large being $18 with tax.

Edit: still the best bowls!? but you guys should really consider updating your Google/Apple hours bc this is the 2nd time we’ve rocked up to your place and there’s a sign on the door with changed hours.? So we sadly wasted a trip!I consider myself an acai bowl connoisseur (seriously though!?) and Cassidy truly made the most amazing acai bowl ever!???? And I love that it was served in an actual ceramic bowl! I also love that I wasn’t asked to write a review - I had just mentioned how delicious it was in person and he was so gracious that I wanted to reiterate my gratitude here.? Look fwd to returning!?

Backyard Bowls has so many options with Acai bowls. Me and my family were looking for great Acai bowls around Santa Monica. We ordered the Santa Barabara bowl which comes in a large size. It came in a large cup but I was hoping it would be in a bowl so it will be easier to mix together. Nevertheless, the bowl was really delicious!! The fruits were fresh and refreshing. Service was very quick. There was street parking available. There were a few seats available inside the store so you can bring a date here. We highly recommend this place to other visitors and locals as the quality of the bowls are amazing! The staff knew very well the components of each bowl.

I've been disappointed by MANY so called açaí spots in west LA (you'd think we'd have the best options around here since it's literally LA) coming from OC. I know it's a chain but this was my first time trying Backyard and it was sooo satisfying and fully hit the spot for me. I got the Regular sized berry bowl and set up my computer to get some work done inside (there's wifi and a few smaller bistro tables / a large picnic table as well as outdoor seating) and they put my order in a for here bowl to minimize waste which I love (make sure to bus your own table when you're done). The ratio of granola to fruit to açaí was perfect for me and they did not skimp on the fruit which I very much appreciated. Everything tasted fresh and sweet. My only slight complaint is that it's absolutely freezing inside so bring a jacket if you plan on staying to eat. Noticed a lot of people coming in to order smoothies to go as well. Very excited to go back soon.
