A really great spot on 3rd street! My go-to is a fried chicken club sandwich. It's literally the BEST! Their margaritas are quite good as well. Be prepared to wait during game times.

I enjoyed the vibe and decor but found the prices of well drinks to be very high. Service was good, they weren't busy on a Monday. I would return for lunch just not drinks.

Upon entering the restaurant, my girlfriend and I were told by the host to "have a seat anywhere that's open." While looking a seat, a waitress approached up encouraging us to sit in a certain area (which we realized was not her section, how convenient). Once we did find a seat, it was about ten minutes before anyone approached us. We ordered a beer, Barney's fries, and a coke (which was free for my gf because she was "DD," per their menu). The beer and fries arrived in a timely manner, however the server didn't even bring us silverware or napkins, when we asked him to, he handed us unwrapped silverware with his hand directly on end of the forks. We finished the fries before anyone checked up on us or gave us the soda, and as soon as someone did come we asked for our check. The server said she would give us the coke in a to-go cup since we were leaving, yet several minutes later we were still waiting on it. It was nearly sunset, and we knew we were likely to miss the sunset if we waited on these people to bring us the drink, so we just left without it. At least their service saved us money on the tip...

A restaurant where you can enjoy American cuisine in a typical American atmosphere.I went in because it was in the guidebook and seemed like it would give me a taste of America.Although it was daytime, there were not many people and it was easy to get in.The menu was extensive and had many easy-to-eat items.For Japanese people, one serving is enough or more.Service is about average.It might be pretty tasty too.

Came here for some drinks. It was my first time trying this spot. They play loud music, have pool tables and air hockey games. Alot of TVs around so it's a great place to watch games. I liked the nostalgic decor in the bathrooms and old magazine style cut outs laminated on the bar tables. Great energy and the people are really nice too. They make a really good espresso martini. We shared the chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream.Parking: They have metered parking and paid parking garage

I was in Santa Monica shortly after landing at LAX and the first thing I wanted to see was the water and I wanted to get a drink. After slowly realizing there are no alcohol options along the water at 9am, I walked a couple blocks back. Then stumbled upon Barney's Beanery! My server was wonderful. She was very busy but did not skip a beat. I had a fried chicken club and two margaritas. They were strong and cold. Just the way I like it. The sandwich was perfect as well. Nothing fancy. But it was great. If you're in the area I'd definitely stop by if it catches your eye.

A staple of Los Angeles and prominent place on 3rd street promenade. Barney's has a casual vibe good for locals to just hangout or tourist to grab a variety taste of LA. Other locations have the same casual vibe with a bit more local vibe. Covered wall to wall in knickknacks and tvs to watch sports.

Patio heaters made all the difference. Food was fast fresh and mmmm huge sourdough toast with strawberry jam. They served my tea with hot milk. Ya baby!! Highly recommend post cruise !! Cool beans place. From Toronto Canada.

What an awesome atmosphere and the service was OUTSTANDING!!!! We were warmly welcomed and treated very well! The atmosphere is unique with lights and many different features throughout, and we entertained by the pool tables, shuffleboard, air hockey, arcade games plus they put the hockey game on for us on one of the multiple TVs!!! We loved it so much that we went back for breakfast the next morning! The portion was huge and the flavor was great!!! We would highly recommend if you are looking for a unique, laid back, fun and delicious resturant/bar.Thank you for a wonderful experience Ben and staff!!!
