WOW! My first time ordering b/c I wanted to try the food before gifting to family and friends. The cookies, brownies and bars arrived quickly, beautifully packaged, labeled with a sweet note and are fantastically yummy (especially the Cinnamon Pear Shortbread)! I drive by the storefront all the time and am just so blown away at the high quality of the box received. BRAVO! I will most certainly stop in and/or order again! Likely my new favorite on-line ordering bakery!

I know that most of the reviews are about the cakes. I want to give a shout out to the Broadway Baker Granola. I have never been a fan of granola as I find that most of the granola sold is too sweet for my taste. Even the granola found at such places as Farmshop and Clementine miss the mark,. The granola at Broadway Barker hits every mark. Not too sweet.Lot of nuts, and no raisins!!! I love it at breakfast with plain yogurt and fresh blueberries.O.K. one more shout out. I am in love with the raspberry shortbread cookies, Amazing!!

I’ve been going to Jim’s fine establishment for years and he never disappoints! You can’t go wrong with any selection!I’ve had the following:- The cupcakes (all flavors) are moist and delicious!- Rugelach (again, all flavors)- Scones- Brownies (you HAVE to try the salted caramel brownie)- dark chocolate espresso wafersI appreciate that he sources from the Santa Monica farmers market and supports the farmers! The seasonal fruit he adds to the pastries are delightful!Highly recommend!

Five stars The staff was so friendly and personable. Very eager to help in a gentle manner and hold conversation with customers. It's a relatively small shop and you can see everyone assembling packets of baked goods. I visited a few bakeries in the area and found that the cupcake here was the best of the ones that I tasted. They are very sweet and sugary, but the decadence held in the chocolate flavor from this shop is on an entirely different level than the rest. The cream is light but not too whipped to be the frosting it needs to be to complement the flavorful cake. Their thin cookies were so chocolatey and indulgent and robust in flavor which was almost reminiscent of toffee. At other bakeries, there was nothing else I really wanted to taste. But the decision was a tough one to make here and I would definitely be back to try other baked goods. I was highly charmed by this small business and the quality of the product and people behind it.

All I can say is a oatmeal cranberry pecan crispy cookie is my new favorite cookie on the planet. Unbelievable and crispy and light and perfect.There are a lot of delicious choices in here. I had a very hard time picking just a few clearly made with lots of love and very high-end ingredients. I truly appreciate that. It's hard to find a bakery that uses quality ingredients.

Jim and his partner nailed my wife's birthday & baby shower cake. She wanted a simple vanilla cake with fresh strawberries and it was very well received. Happy wife, happy life. Thank you for the help BB! P.S. I add extra cake toppers but the banner they created is going in our scrapbook!

Great neighborhood bakery. The double chocolate and carrot cake were delicious. The staff is super friendly and don't forget to ask about a neighborhood discount. I will definitely be back for a pop tart.
Randomly stopped in as I was walking down Wilshire. This is a cute, friendly neighborhood bakery. Around 10am on a weekday there wasn't a ton on offer--two kinds of scones, some muffins, and then some packages of cookies. The scones looked beautiful, and the owner buys all the fruit from the local farmers market, so bought one of them. The texture was excellent--very moist--and clearly they use good ingredients...and a lot of butter! What surprised me was that it wasn't sweet. Even the berries skewed more towards sour. I shared it with someone who prefers savory and sour, and she loved it.

After reading positive reviews online, I chose Broadway Baker for my son’s graduation party. Placing an order was a simple phone call. I also received a follow up email from Jim. When we picked up the order, everyone was friendly and the bakery was adorable. The staff included an UCLA banner and incorporated UCLA colors. I ordered chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry cupcakes. They all were delicious with moist, light cake balanced perfectly with the icing. However, the strawberry was exceptional with vanilla cake, strawberry icing, and a dollop of strawberry jam in the center. I would highly recommend Broadway Baker to anyone.

Super cute neighborhood spot. The neighborhood-vibes are strong here. The person at the register was really knowledgeable about all of the pastries -- you can also see them baking things right behind the register. If you live close by, let them know because they have a small neighborhood discount! I ordered a scone and a couple cupcakes. The scone was pretty good. It wasn't too dry, the right amount of crisp. ONe of the cupcakes was a peanut butter cupcake: this is 100% for cupcake lovers because there is a lot of peanut butter flavoring here. I think that the star of my order though wasn't what I ordered, but their sample shortbread. Oh my gosh, I need to come back and buy these -- it's the perfect buttery flaky texture. I also really like how they sell some local arts and crafts, including pottery and prints.

Incredible small bakery. Very inviting. This is a very tasty, cheerfully uplifting treats shop. Give them a visit. My favorite is the Grandma's mix bar. So delicious!The customer service here is excellent and there are always new treats to try. They are pricey but if you want to spoil yourself or your loved ones, this is the place to order from!
