We love coming to this place! It’s a small cozy hole in the wall located in prime Santa Monica. Every time we visit family in California this a must go for my family and I. The people and the food are amazing. We stopped in late night a few weeks ago, maybe 45 minutes before they closed. They were super busy but happy to attend us. After being served our meal I asked if it was too late for me to order a garlic bread. The Cook and the server replied “ of course we can!” I felt bad asking because they were cleaning, without hesitation they got to it and served us the order! Thank you! Your service and food always makes us happy.

Given the positive reviews, I definitely expected more. The place is nice, even if it tries to have a forcefully Italian style which makes it seem American. The menu includes both pizzas and first and second courses, with some traditional Italian dishes. The problem is that there is nothing Italian about these dishes. From the smells you can already tell that very strong creams/cheeses are used. The pizza for America is not bad, but definitely don't expect an Italian pizza. Friendly staff. Prices are decidedly high for the quality of food offered. $46 for 2 small margherita pizzas and 1 can of coke (including 15% tip).Vegetarian options: Choice of vegetarian dishes

Stumbled in here on a very wet afternoon, we’d just flown in on the first day of our vacation not expecting LA to be quite so wet. This place was such a gem, had a warm welcoming feel. Ordered cheese pizza, Cesar salad, minestrone and a bacon carbonara pasta to eat family style. All really good, and came out in good time too. Prices were pretty good for a prime tourist location in my opinion. Definitely kid friendly too. Forgot to take photos, sadly.

Quite simply THE BEST!!! A destination for us every time we’re in California from Colorado - it only lets me rate it 5 stars but if I could give it a 10 I would - PLEASE open a restaurant in Colorado ???
We sat down for dinner and in less than 15 minutes had the best ravioli in recent memory!!! Lovely people, diverse menu and all the quaintness of the beachfront you’re looking for…a totally authentic experience!
