Out here munching on a slice of some of the best cheese pizza and one of the best burgers in Santa Monica. Do your taste buds and your wallet a favor and swing in there you will not regret it. Ps the truffle fries are the right amount of flavor and not overpowering like most places make em!

This was THE BEST place to eat . I had a margarita pizza and a Cesar salad. The food tasted of the HIGHEST quality the service was absolutely wonderful the menu option is endless. My favorite was the cesar salad the owner personally makes it himself. He used Asiago and parmasean imported straight from Italy (and it reflected in taste) and the dressing is homemade. I’m very picky about my salad having too much or too little dressing and it had THE PERFECT amount of dressing. My salad was not soggy and the produce was fresh. I would recommend and definitely go back ! 10/10

My friend asked for the rustic chicken sandwich on a sourdough roll and the guy just said "no it's on French bread" even though my Italian sub came on a sourdough roll. Paid for our food and he charged me for a meal instead of just the sandwich. When I asked he pointed to a little scratched out sign on the counter that says "cash and card prices vary." Garbage service and the food was a joke. Not worth $17 for something you can make at home.

I work in the area and eat out regularly—Bud’s breakfast items are both excellent and a value. In particular, the Spanish omelette is outstanding. Also, the long-time owner has taken my order every time and is kind and accommodating. This is spot is an under appreciated neighborhood gem.

Every time I go in there I am treated like a local, which I am. At Bud's Deli you get the friendly neighborhood service you would expect when you go to a place like that. And I always see a familiar face. I haven't tried everything on the menu but I have my favorites, the Italian sub and the Gary Burger. That's all I ever get and they are both the bomb!

Although I'm still working my way through the full menu; the Italian sub, Tri-Tip sandwich, fresh pastries, and Jaclyn's grapefruit salad, are a few among my "Everyone Must Try" list! Tomorrow I can't wait to try the breakfast burrito that one of their frequent customers were raving about when I came in!Aside from the delicious food, I must admit that part of my obsession with this deli is due to the genuine excitement I see from the owner, Gary. He's always so eager to personally greet his guests and loves to tell me about the new recipes he's currently working on.Overall, this place scores a 10/10 for me--great quality, perfect portion sizes, reasonable prices, and great service.

Such a large assortment of options. The Caesar salad is amazing! Best Caesar dressing I’ve ever had. I always get the Italian sub, tri tip sandwich or BLT.
