I have eaten at this restaurant in the past and perhaps this was a bad day for the restaurant, but from service to food execution, I would stay away. It's located in an area where one would consider it a tourist trap (near Santa Monica pier). Servers are young and naive. Service is slow and food not prepared to customer preference. For what you pay ($75-100 per person) this is not good value. Go elsewhere.

No effective Manager on Duty Short Staffed I realize it was Sunday evening, but come on...staffing has been lowered while prices rise? Food is the same as always. Great Location. Clean.

Not our first visit, but awful experience unfortunately. Sat for 15 minutes and had to ask the hostess for a waiter. Waited 25 minutes for two ribeyes way overcooked - ordered medium rare and got medium well - and waited another 30 minutes for new steaks, one of which was still overcooked. End result was being there nearly 2 hours for a one course meal and half off the bill. Just such a poor experience that we won't go back.

Das essen war sehr schlecht und kam auch recht schnell. Die Bedienung hat nur das Geld genommen und den Rest einfach nie abgeräumt. Der Tisch am Fenster und das Geschirr war klebrig. Dir Preise sind zu höch. Nie wieder.

?️? What a delightful way to wrap up the day! We treated ourselves to a fantastic late lunch at Del Frisco's Grille, and it exceeded all expectations! The meal was absolutely scrumptious, and the wine selection was top-notch. We want to extend a heartfelt thanks to Alberto, the restaurant manager, for his swift attention when he noticed a slight hiccup with our orders. He truly went above and beyond! ??? Quiet in a Wednesday evening. Our in laws traveled in from overseas. Took nearly one hour for us to receive our food. Two salads, on chicken sandwich and a cheeseburger. Used to be a go-to spot for my lady and I. Very disappointed in the entire experience. Steak was over cooked and the best part of our visit was leaving.

First off I was thinking double eagle steakhouse which was an oversight but nonetheless.. THIS IS NOT THAT. Dry Buffalo wings had no seasoning, fries are salty and SOGGY & burger was cool . No regular ranch just avocado ranch. Our server was sweet. Would never go back though especially from going on accident in the first place

I My wife, daughter and I went for our wedding anniversary. We sat down and waited for 15 minutes and no one acknowledged us sitting at the table. I eventually got up and checked out the restaurant next door's menu. After the second I went next door to see if they space available a server approached my wife and said they only had one server and that we're welcomed to go next door. It was very unfortunate and it was my first ever going to Del Frisch. I doubt I'll bee go back.

My 8 year old son's meal (chicken tenders & fries) came last. Piece of hair in wings TWICE. Some meals came incorrect or very late. Wings are appetizers, no? Well they came after the meals.

I can’t be sure of what I experienced this evening, but truly, this was not the DF experience I’ve had in cities like Philadelphia, Boston, etc.I’ve always highly recommended this restaurant, but this experience was lacking in so many ways.First, I ordered a salad with grilled chicken, only to have it show up with undercooked chicken. I kindly had it sent back, thinking they’d make me a new breast of chicken. Nope! They brought me the same piece of raw chicken that had touched all of the food on my plate, re-cooked and overdone. Not to mention, what was once a crisp and chilled salad had then turned to room temperature slop.My best friend ordered a crab cake that was mushy and small.The cocktails were great, so that was a positive. Colby is an awesome waiter, another shiny spot on an otherwise dismal food experience.We had a Nutella dessert with ice cream that we HOPED if nothing else, could cleanse our palettes and bring some closure to the otherwise underwhelming and unpleasant taste of what preceded it. That didn’t exactly happen. It was rough and tough to dig into around the edges, but warm and pleasant in the center. Unfortunately it just sort of blended two textures unfavorably and wreaked of once frozen dessert cake thawed and warmed like a KFC molten lava cake.Who knows - maybe the kitchen was just having an off day. But, it was a tell tale sign when the couple sitting immediately across from us were asked about their meal and also shared a somewhat disappointing message like we had - instead, theirs was about the ribs entree being overly tough and lacking flavor.Sad to say, this establishment has a great environment, but I’ve had better food at ihop.It’s now been three weeks and management has tried to reach out, I’ve replied and no one has tried to contact me to remedy the issue. It’s very clear that they don’t value customer experience at this location.

Food, drinks, service, everything was great. Came for my birthday with just our smaller group (5 + a 15 month old). Our waiter (I'm so sorry, I forgot his name) was really great and attentive. It was 08/27 at our 1pm reservation. I wouldn't change a thing. We will be back when we make our way back to Santa Monica. Thank you!

Service:Start of service was okay, no one at the front.Middle of service was good, waitress was good and friendly.End of service for payment was bad if you’re paying with their scan, had to get payment “checked” (was checking if we tipped, which honestly thinking about it now, we shouldn’t have even tipped.)Food:Was good ??Also they apparently have a “secret dress code”, if you’re not dressed “fancy” enough, they don’t think you’re a paying guest.Conclusion:If you want to go to a restaurant, eat restaurant food and pay restaurant price, it’s not worth going there, I’m sure there are plenty other good restaurants around with better service.Wouldn’t go back for sure.

We had a filet burger and a chicken sandwich one with sweet potato fries the other with regular fries. We came on a Thursday night, not busy. The food was bland and fries cold and hard. The service was sparce and slow. However the location was great to enjoy the vibe of Santa Monica.

Great space and atmosphere. Service was also great but the food was basic AF. I ordered a steak sandwich which turned out to be a French Dip. Big difference. Not sure why they list a steak sandwich when it isn’t. Anyway the sandwich arrived cold and sloppy. The onion rings were mediocre. Maybe just get a drink at the bar and enjoy the beach view.

It wasn't great. Lousy service, meal were kind of “ok”. Definitely you can't compare this with the NYC Del Frisco's. Needs to change the General Manager. Nobody is paying attention on details. The result was an empty restaurant on a Summer Saturday evening on the most crowded corner of Santa Monica
