We were very happy we stopped in for lunch. The chopped liver appetizer and the tongue and pastrami sandwich were fantastic. The matzo ball soup was somewhat disappointing (but I am somewhat spoiled with a lifetime of fantastic, homemade soup) that had a ridiculously humongous matzo ball. The "light lunch for one" combo was enough food for an entire day and anything but light!

We have been coming to Fromins about every two weeks for 15 years, and we lived 40 miles away. This would be our lunch after a day of hiking in Santa Monica mountains. 2 years ago we moved almost to Canada and now only come back to the area for hiking and Fromins, it still manage to come twice a year.Best Deli around, and always great service, food, parking and Clientele. Will be there again in a couple months. Got to have a Skyhigh Corned beef sandwich.Parking: Plenty of parking in lot in front, or you can park on Wiltshire and inside street. Never have had a problem finding parking, and it is a safe area.

Food is great and a good value. If dining in you will appreciate the excellent serving staff. Allow plenty of time for take out orders. The deli gets super busy. Pro-tip - order your lunch in the dining room and have them prepare your to go order while you eat your lunch.
They served a pastrami sandwich COLD. Enough said. Never going back. The kitchen put it up, and the waitress served it.

Wow, the portions will knock your socks off! The service is exceptional, even the owner came to say hi! We are from Winnipeg, Canada, where we have 2 good Jewish Deli's.This was our first visit to Fromin's!And we enjoyed every moment of it!
I ordered the eggs with salami omelette with an onion bagel and house fry potatoes. Delish!!! Angelica was my waitress and on Tuesday she was the hostess. Unlike an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm, my order came right away. Afterwards, I went to the Deli counter and ordered a quart of their delicious mushroom barley soup and corn rye bread. It's the best!!
