My husband and I used to walk here and treat ourselves to their salads back when we lived in Santa Monica in 2013-2015. Still to this day when we visit LA, one of our first sentiments we express to each other is “ooh yay we get to go to Greens up!” We’re dorks? Maybe. But we don’t care, the fact is this place makes an awesome salad. We are heading to LA this weekend and I’m so excited to stop by!

For the price, it's not worth it at all. Mediocre salad for a way more than some of the competitors around the area. I give two stars instead of one because they have good customer service and also some cool beverages in their fridge if you want to wash down your mediocre salad with a cool beverage.

Freshly made customized yummy salads created at faster than fast food speed -unless you are trying to deep fry yourself to death, literally why would you not? This little place totally rocks! Also the trail mix with cashew pieces. So good!

These salads are really great. I have been getting a few a week for a while because it's quick, easy, and at a perfect price point. Today I went in and grabbed one and paid without really listening to the price while paying. Then noticed that there was a $4 price hike for the same exact salad! I didn't say anything but then the owner is talking to his worker "yeah man see, nobody cares. I can bring the price even higher, nobody seems to notice." Good for you and your pockets buddy but I don't want to sit there listening to how I'm being taken for a ride. I didn't say anything but not going back to support this arrogant business owner.

I love this salad spot! It's easy in and out and the greens are super fresh. I customize my options but the menu is also clever. The trail mix is especially awesome IMO and I'm pretty much addicted to the lime topo Chico & ginger cold tea. So many different kinds of people come in from the neighborhood as regulars which is a whole great vibe. Really kicking myself for walking past this place for literally years without ever going in. I guess it doesn't look like much because it's small but i have to admit that it's a real gem.

As a long time customer I am very disappointed in the way a mistake by their fax machine was handled. We order by fax all the time with no issues. Our office ordered 4 salads and by mistake 6 were made. We were charged for all 6. We simply asked for a refund for 2 salads. And were told this is not his problem, he did not want to refund 2 mistakenly made salads and told us "we are no longer allowed in his place of business" This is not how you handle mistakes made by a business. And if this is view of his customers we will gladly no longer order from here.
I've been visiting this local spot for several years. I Never had an issue until two months ago when I got severe food poisoning from one of their salads. I called several times to reach a manager and let them know of my experience but I never received a call back. Rather disappointing.

This place will get your taste buds going. Went to Greens Up Salads, Not long ago, and its a really good place with Vegan options since everything here is mainly organic. I tried some Baked chicken or grilled with Greens that were really good than the Collad Greens im used to eating lol. I thought the food taste good. Customer Service was great. I just think everything need a bitm ore flavor. Thats why you got me, Ill dock it up lol. Im not really big on Salads, I like the selection of dressings. Salads are always a challenge for me.

The choose your own is the way to go! You can pick what you like and its a bit less expensive than the other salads. I was surprised how giant the salad was - for some it could be two meals. Great tasting, very clean, the only thing I wish that they had was juice or smoothies to go along with it.

The salads are good but $16? I guess for the area it makes sense, but having money or no money, they’re robbing you if you’re paying that. Especially when they were once a reasonable price. Will never go back. The employees are awesome, though!
