Basic menu of burgers, fries, and soft serve (which I like). Good beer selection. Burgers are classic smash style, fries are shoestring. The burger itself is a 4 out of 5. They use shortrib, not chuck, so I think it lacks a bit of flavor. Fries were great and a huge portion. Staff was really friendly and efficient. Counter service with a small courtyard, but a good sized covered sidewalk dining area. Hit them up!
Heavy Handed is up there for best burger I’ve ever had! Delicious delicious delicious burger, flavorful sauce, and the softest bun ever. Didn’t make me feel overly full or bloated like burgers tend to do. The fry portion is huge and tbh one order is probably enough for two people. Overall, I really have no complaints. A little pricy, sure ($20 for a triple burger combo) Worth it? YEP. Great location close to the Santa Monica boardwalk, food came out fast, friendly employees....read full review

Great burger ... really great. Sadly, it's overpriced for what you get. It's a thing I would only get if the line was non-existent. Standing in a long line for an overpriced burger is over-rated.The fries are spectacular. They are cooked in beef tallow...like McDonalds did back in the day.
