I've been to plenty of JINYA RAMEN BARS (13 locations). I travel often and it's my go to spot. This is the worst location. We had to wait to be seated inside, which is honestly completely fine. It's a popular spot, I can understand that. I went to restroom while we waited. No toilet seat cover available. We were seated by the bus boy (I'm assuming) who literally threw the menus down and left. I get it, you have to clean stuff.Once we sat down our table was dirty. Which is nasty as hell. There was sauce spilled all over the sauce tray and there was a used saucer bowl. When we asked for the tray to be cleaned, we were ignored several times. We ordered our drinks and they were wrong. My sake was wrong and my sister didn't get her lemons until the food was brought out. The food was delicious, 10/10 recommend. When it came to closing our waiter was switched. The man asked if we wanted to order anything else before the kitchen was closed. We said no, but asked if we could get two boxes, and waters to go. The man asked if he could close our out tab, I asked if I could pay with Apple Pay. He huffed quite literally like a dog and said "I guess".I went with him and asked if I could scan for my points. He said to write it down on the receipt. I did. Then I said where do I pay? He looked at me said "What do you think?" Then walked away. A nice lady walked up and said I could pay with her. I paid and we left.

Really not a fan of my first experience here. The octopus ball dish was off, the atmosphere inside was to match and there was only one waiter that evening busting himself to do a good job. Just another Main St. Restaurant... Nothing special.

The spicy chicken ramen was just great. A big portion, the spicy option was just spicy enough without being overpowering. Really fast service, and a pleasant garden (even though it's on a major street).

Had an amazing time with my friends. We went out and walked Murphy's Ranch(Another destination I'd recommend!) and ended up heading towards the pier for some seafood. We didn't really see much that called to us, so we came to Jinya. I'm vegetarian, so I really try to stay away from meats, but I still consume dairy and eggs. They had only Vegan options but it's very easy to change them into Vegan. We started with the Impossible Gyoza and it blew my mind. For plant based meat, it was hard to tell it wasn't real meat. They were so good.I got the Spicy Cream Ramen and it was AMAZING!!!! It was so perfectly done and packed with vegetables, it hit the spot perfectly. My egg was a little too runny, even after keeping it under the hot broth, but even that was tasty. The staff was also very sweet. I'm sad I failed to get her name, but she had a kind smile and a great attitude. I'd definitely come again. It was so worth it, and the food was fair priced.

Terrible Experience - Food PoisoningMy boyfriend and I visited this ramen shop today, lured in by the positive reviews. However, our experience was anything but positive. Within three hours of dining here, we both fell severely ill. The food poisoning we experienced was excruciating, and as I write this review, we’re still dealing with the aftermath. It’s deeply concerning that a place with seemingly good reviews could serve food that leaves customers in such a terrible state. The management needs to prioritize the quality and safety of their food above all else. As a responsible member of society, I feel compelled to warn potential customers about the risks. To the manager or owner, if you’re reading this: we demand a refund for the dreadful experience we endured. It’s only fair considering the pain and suffering we’ve had to endure as a result of dining at your establishment.

Best vegan ramen I’ve ever had. Always come back for the Vegan flying harvest, which is an insane portion for one person but tastes delicious.

Oh Jinya! What happened? The quality of the ingredients has simply gone. The last two orders have been bland with cheap filler ingredients with a bucketload of sweetcorn. I mean, sweetcorn in a ramen dish? The soup is slop and far from fresh. Sorry, never again… Such a shame.

I got the Tonkotsu Original and thought it was good, although just a bit too salty. My friend also agreed. The outdoor seating by the fireplace is really nice. The water they serve has a nice taste to it. Service is pretty good and the food came out fast.
