Ok, I love the ambiance and the food. But they changed the menu and added a surcharge. That surcharge thing just bugs me. Let's say it's for support to employees. Employees don't usually stay long enough to actually see ANY of that compensation! It just will go more to the business! So it's just an added rip off for the customer! Let's say the charge IS to support inflation or to avoid raising the menu pricing by approximately 30 cents. That's still obnoxious! Also...happy hour an hour ONLY?? Then who's going to come to your restaurant for happy hour!? The whole point is to make an appealing happy hour so that more people COME, and STAY longer and order MORE! I think they need to rethink how to get more people in the restaurant. There's just too much competition to be that tight about things. Just don't love those changes. I swear I see surcharge on menus or bills and I already have decided I will chose somewhere else to go.

Favorite dishes: Lomo Saltado-juicy well marinated beef, perfectly blistered tomatoes and onions, easily one of the best I've had in LA Waygu Crunchers-ideal happy hour bite, reminiscent of Nobu. Well priced and packed with flavor Spanish Octopus -tender and citrusy, it's hard to execute the perfect char without overcooking the octopus and it becoming rubbery. This was our tables favorite dish, it was hard to not order 3 more. It was that good Favorite cocktails: Happy hour Paloma- strong, well made cocktail with real grapefruit juice instead of soda Spicy margarita- this one is no joke, jalapeño infused and super fresh tasting Smoke show- a mezcal lovers dream Service: Reza, the owner, greeted us with impeccable hospitality when he stopped by the table to introduce himself. From the get go, he made our party feel right at home. Our server Kayla was super well versed when it came to menu recommendations and our busser was on top of his game keeping our table clear and our waters full. Ambiance: beautiful space, resort type vibes with a great playlist. We sat in the back patio/lounge area on a cold, windy evening and the heaters kept us nice and toasty. Overall highly recommend whether you're looking for the perfect low key date night spot or an after work happy hour, this place has the vibes on lock!

Service and ambiance here is really nice. The food is what you expect from these Santa Monica restaurants and their prices. I'd recommend this place for drinks but maybe that's about it.

The restaurant has a unique decor. It feels like a place in some island in the Pacific. The food is excellent from a chef who has traveled the world and found the best recipes from many different countries. There is a lounge/bar in the back for drinks that is convenient and very comfortable. The servers are efficient and knowledgeable about the various dishes
This place has a great vibe and delicious food. Not to forget the beautiful interior and the nice and chill staff. Jonah, the chef brought some good specialities on the menu like tacos, lobster and awesome briskets! the bar within the back area is adding a lot of value to the concept as well!

Ensure that you make a reservation! No frozen margaritas are available, just normal ones, unfortunately. Crispy potatoes are divine and quite literally to die for!Parking: 2 hour free parking on side streets a block away. Metered on Wilshire.Kid-friendliness: Kids okay, but I'd rather you don't try it.Wheelchair accessibility: A bit tight in some hallways.

this was the most incredible experience I had in LA, the best food, the best service customer service was prime, beautiful restaurant, along with the most flavorful food I’ve experienced yet… all started from the door to the heated toilet seats omg.
Shitty service, nasty food, everything's overpriced, weirdos pouring girls alcohol from a marked bottle but drinking from a different one themselves. Sus spot.

It's rare to find places in Santa Monica that have exceptional food and a great atmosphere. I had friends in town visiting from out of state, and I took them here before we went out. It was the perfect dinner place to set the mood for the night. The margs and the yellowtail ceviche were phenomenal. I also ordered the shrimp tacos and the lobster Mac and cheese and both were incredibly flavorful. The lights were dimmed and the music was really fun, but not so loud that you couldn’t hear the people across from you at the the table. This is a great spot for a birthday or a girls night out with a fun atmosphere in Santa Monica. My friends loved it, and my husband said we will have to come back. Our total bill came out to $375 with multiple margarita rounds, appetizers, and mains for 4 people.

Came for happy hour, stayed for this massive plate of delicious meat. This plate would be a vegan person's nightmare, but if you like meat, it was fantastic. They have great dipping sauces too! This spot is great. They make good cocktails. The bartenders are friendly. The bar is pretty small, so be warned, you might have to wait. They have a great outdoor spot that they can cover when it rains. The vibe here is awesome. Def going to be a new happy hour spot.

The dining experience was enjoyable, featuring tasty dishes and top-notch service. Yet, there was a bit of unease caused by the prolonged stares at my girl from a tall Iranian man with a ponytail and beard, who frequented the place. Moreover, it was worth mentioning that they opted for a POS machine at the table rather than providing a traditional invoice.
