What a delightful midday snack. The three hand roll just hit the spot. I wish I had something like this near me ? Staff is very nice and friendly.

Fish quality was just ok overall. Yellowtail was excellent, but the crab and toro were disappointing.

I got take out and food was mediocre. Especially given the price, it was not worth it. Packaging and presentation was probably the best part of the experience. Although they advertise they do not support tipping but they apply a 16% fee on the bill, which was confusing to me as a traveller.

Was looking for a quick bite while at Santa Monica. This place was the only sushi nearby. It is a very small restaurant, the menu is very limited. This wasn’t really an issue as I knew what I was getting into. The service was slow & waited 30 minutes for my full order. Rice is warm so the sushi tastes kind of weird. The seats are very stiff & if it gets busy there is only one cook. It’s nice if you need a spot to spend an hour or two to catch up with someone. If you’re hungry skip this place.

The food is per usual kazunori's standard. But the servers were very rude and never did their job unless asked or prompted a few times. They also messed up two out of three people's orders when the restaurant was quite empty and not busy at all.Very disappointing service and will not return

Kazunori is easily the most affordable, high quality sushi restaurant around. They’ve got a great selection of fresh fish at even better prices. With a super personal bar seating, you’re guaranteed to feel like a king.

The hand rolls are so good. We tried the salmon and the tuna rolls. They don’t have any spicy food. The price is great, no wonder why there is a huge lineup.

Neither “sushi” nor “sashimi” in “Japan”The taste itself is "maki sushi style" 60 points for a new productEven though it's not "sushi", everything is expensive and the cost performance is bad.I feel suspicious that Google's rating is too high.・A store that makes you think in many waysAll ingredients are seasoned paste with no fresh taste. How about calling this Japanese sushi roll? Why are customers lining up in Santa Monica who don't even know what real "maki sushi" is for products and services that would be unimaginable in Japan? As a Japanese person, I want people from overseas to understand that this is not ``sushi'' before going there.

I agreed with some of the low star reviews. That’s LA young people kind of Sushi. That’s not sushi to me n definitely not for that price. Plus they don’t take reservations. Waiting time 36-45mins.Go to a real traditional sushi place with real fish not fish paste. Sorry, not my type of food
