This is BY FAR my favorite taco spot in Santa Monica! They do fresh tacos outside most nights and the tacos are super good and super cheap. It's like two dollars a taco. The tacos are street taco sized but they don't skimp on the meat! And it's all the toppings you want! The atmosphere is great! It's a cute little patio with outdoor seating. I went on a date there the other night. We had a lovely time and the bill was like only fifteen bucks! The only problem was I went back there the other night and they weren't open even though they have outdoor seating. I don't know if they only do the outdoor tacos certain nights but I have driven past multiple times on different nights and sometimes seen them out there and sometimes not.

Every time I stop by in the China Town area, I go to The Lazy Daisy Cafe and never once in my 10 years that I live in California, I had any sorts of problems. Excellent Deep Fried squid, tasty Mongolian beef and the pot rice is fresh. An excellent place for a dine in experience in the heart of China Town.

2nd time ordering. Acai bowl delicious as the first time. Chicken Alfredo was okay. Sesame chicken with "Spanish" rice was NOT IT. Only 3 stars cause the acai bowls & orange juice.

This place used to be a great place to go, amazing service great atmosphere and hearty hot delicious meal with great customer service. Arrived here and got seated pretty quickly, hungry and eager to get out for a meal, especially during the Pandemic, and only going out once a week. The waiter initially seemed pleasant and we got our tea, coffee and water. We asked what the soup of the day was, waiter did not know, he came back a few minutes later after finding out what the soup was. I'm sorry but surely you should know what the specials are on the menu, it's only your job?After 45 minutes and no food I asked another waiter to find out where our food is, he replied "oh do you want your check"?I said no I would like my meal thank you I am still waiting for our food. He went away to check, after about another 5 minutes he came back with food, unfortunately it was barely warm, the plates were warmer than the food, must've been sitting for awhile. Potatoes with sandwich weren't cooked properly. There was 2 servers, not coming near us, so went up to front and asked for the check. Then 10 mins later I had to flag someone down, he had forgot I asked him for check again. Extremely bad service, never had this kind of bad service at a cafe ever!.. on leaving cafe they had the audacity to say, Have a nice day.. ? Poor..

This was my first time here. My friend and I ordered pan cake and chipotle chicken wrap. They took our order. Guess what! We'd been waiting for more than an hour. Then, I decided to talk to them. They said they were sorry and everything would be on the house. I understand if we were waiting on the line, But this was not. They forgot about us. It really didn't make sense to me. I was so upset about it. BTW, food was good
