$325 Meal with family ruined by the manager who rudely and angrily stated the moment we sat down “first of all - I need to remind you that you need to leave by 7:15 for another reservation - do you understand?” (This was more than 2 hours away). Honestly was hard to recover after that. Maybe “Hello, you need to leave” works for walk in’s but we had reservations.

Stopped by on a Friday night for happy hour and we were not disappointed. The food was great and we loved our sangria. Service was prompt and the overall experience was wonderful. We will definitely visit again.

Overall delish!!! The shrimp and fig/goat cheese tostados took the cake. Loved the pork belly as well but wish there was more sauce with it. Great date night spot. Service was a bit slow so plan out your drinks and chat accordingly lol

Tapas spot on Main Street. Came here for a Valentine’s dinner and they had live music out in the heated patio. Service was especially slow (but our waiter was nice), but the bright side is that you can have an especially leisurely meal. Reservations can be made online in advance. We ordered the mushroom croquettes, Catalan chicken, tortilla española, jamon wrapped dates, and mac and cheese with bacon. The dishes were good but the best were the dates and the mad and cheese. The tortilla española came with a salsa and an aioli on the side but the aioli did taste sour (I think one of the ingredients used was past its shelf life). Other than that, it’s a good spot for an intimate dinner or date night.

We love this restaurant!! We begin our vacation and end our vacation by eating here. The happy hour is wonderful. We also tried the branzino and it was great as well. We always come here when in Santa Monica and will be back next year.

The Tapas were as close to the real Spanish cuisine as you can get . We had , the mushroom croquettes, Spanish omelette, shrimp and garlic sauce, figs and goat cheese on bread, Manchego cheese board , patasa bravas. Excellent food and service . Cozy quaint place .

Have been here twice now. First time was as a romantic dinner for two and was recently as a large party of eight. Both times were equally delicious. And the space gives you the sense of a small restaurant in Spain. It's hard to comment on specific dishes because it depends on your taste. But everything we ordered we enjoyed and we ordered quite a variety of meats, cheese and vegetable based plates. The house red wine is extra tasty. This is a restaurant you make a point to go back to.

It's hard to find legit tapas outside of Spain but it's here at Manchego. Great atmosphere and service as well. Reasonable pricing (especially for CA) and a nice variety. The bacon wrapped dates, short-ribs and crispy polenta, braised beef empanadas and beet salad were noteworthy. But really, not a thing we had was anything we wouldn't get again. Love this place.

Excellent meal, wine, and service. But the table for two was a little too small to accommodate us, our beverages, and the five plates of tapas we ordered. We sat in the front outdoor section between the street and sidewalk. I've sat there before for lunch and enjoyed it, but for dinner I prefer the back patio since it's isolated from the street and a little more intimate.

I've eaten here quite a few times and it's a great place. The food is outstanding and authentic. We have just a handful of great Spanish restaurants here in LA and this is one of the best if not THE best. I will continue to come back to this quaint little place! Highly recommend!

I was thoroughly disappointed with my recent visit to Manchego. The food was subpar and lacked any real depth of flavor. The presentation was unappealing and the portions were small for the price. I ordered the tortilla de patatas and it fell flat in terms of taste and execution. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a quality dining experience.

We absolutely adored this place, we immediately booked brunch for next weekend while we were still eating dinner. Fantastic, stunning, gorgeous, and they put up with our noisy girl's night out!
