Terrible place. We placed order through Doordash, waited an hour and Merci just canceled our order. Didn't give notice or anything. When we tried to contact them the number online just goes to a voicemail box that is not set up. Totally unprofessional.

Simply service was disappointing at the truck at LB marina farmer’s market. Maybe the band made it hard to hear. We didn’t get what we ordered. I couldn’t have been more clear. My son liked the gelato. I did not. More disappointing because we went specifically for that. Maybe choc mint was the wrong flavor. I did ask for half chic half chic mint. I was given chic sauce. Lol. It must be the European in me. When it’s Chez Clement I guess I expect like Amarino and 2 flavors osbnormal no matter the size. You scrape it anyway. As soon as someone debates with me about “that’s 2 scoops and a larger cup” I realize there is nonauthenticity and no point. I did initially hesitate because there was no queue and with so many kids and families around I was surprised . I guess i now know why! Merci. Au revoir!

I just wanted to let you know that the cake was absolutely perfect. We all agreed after the first bite that it was the best tasting cake we'd ever eaten. It was unanimous. Easy to order online, great communication. Thank you so much Clement for making my nephews 1st birthday taste so good. ❤️

We came here for our 15 year anniversary and had such a great experience. Our server was Marcelina and she was amazing and a lot of fun. Had the 24k drink, so good and the Chilean sea bass and omg so so good. Hubby got the NY strip and it was cooked to perfection!

Very hard to order anything from here and it doesn’t have any taste at all. Mostly because it closed down and is no longer there. Up yours!

Very cute place, it even looks kind of fancy. The flavours are super delicious. Good costumer care :)

I have always passed by here before, and they always such great designs for their ice creams. I finally decided to give it a try and I got one of their Matcha Ice creams that came in some kind of cup. At first, the price seemed a bit expensive, but upon trying it, it absolutely blew my mind. The combination of flavors and quality and density of the feel and taste of ice cream, I knew then, that's what real gelato ought to taste like. Topped with their incredible customer service, I would highly recommend checking this place out. I could definitely see myself coming back multiple times to try their different creations.

We took a bike ride down to Bluff Park to try the new gelato truck. It was awesome I had sea salt caramel gelato with white chocolate and hazelnuts on a waffle cone and Shannon had half coconut half caramel in a waffle cone and they were huge trust me you only need a single scoop.

This is my go-to spot for dessert when I’m in Downtown Santa Monica. You can get gelato in a cup or waffle cone in addition to gelato cake pieces covered in chocolate, waffles, and drumsticks. The pistachio flavor is strong, and the strawberries and cream was fluffy and light. The worker said the strawberries and cream flavor was his favorite - he was very personable and liked to joke around. You can pay by card and there are some stools for you to sit, although the space is rather small. Overall it’s a good place to go to for dessert if you’re eating dinner in Santa Monica or if you need something cold on a hot day. It was weird that they used a large cup for the gelato and they did take a while to come help us (we had to get their attention even though they were standing there not doing anything) so that’s why a star is taken off.

I got here at 19:45 the place was closed and the person opened the door to tell me that they are on break. I found it patronizing and I think she was lying. The hours on the doors also say they are closed although on Yelp they are supposed to be opened until 11pm.

Hours on Google are never correct and they don't answer the phone to provide the correct hours

Ran into this place yesterday walking to Santa Monica Pier. I didn't try their ice cream but the Crepe Cake got our attention. They had the matcha crepe cake for $5. I've never had crepe cake so I can't really compare it to other spots but the price for one slice was reasonable. I think Lady M (Irvine) is about $8-$9 a slice. It was pretty good, I'd eat it over cake (I don't like cake). It wasn't too sweet at all, which is always a plus for me. Overall, I still prefer just a normal crepe.

Looks impressive but far from it. The 2 cakes we had last night were disappointing as they were bland and tasteless. The ice cream was excellent and stick to that ONLY

Delicious gelato. You can get it in a cup or in a cone or in popsicle form, dipped in chocolate. Great treat on a hot day.
