Tiny restaurant bustling on a weekday for lunch, a good sign. Delicious carry out baps and Korean tofu stews to go. Recommend the spicy pork bap. Nice little booths to stay and eat, but you will have to listen to the kpop videos lol. Small parking lot out front.

in their defense i asked them what the quickest meal they had was another reviewer said it tasted like dollar store food thrown together and that couldn't be more accuratelots of good reviews so maybe a bad 1 off but it was bad enough for me to be writing this review

The bibimbap is the best around. High quality ingredients for sure. But I always get the stews when I miss my mom's cooking. Everyone's mom has their own special recipes and are going to be biased towards them but their kimchi chigae is top notch. I notice some places make it too spicy or too tangy but it hits that balance right. Throw in some rice and it's perfection. Glad they kept this on the menu as I'm sure most go with the bibimbap dishes. But do yourself a favor and get some kimchi stew on a cool day.

I just want to start off by saying that this restaurant is named accurately; the employees do give off a Korean mom-like vibe and you get bop (food or rice in Korean)!I was looking for a Korean restaurant for lunch that was reasonably priced and I am glad I found this establishment! I got the kimchi spam fried rice because I was really missing the one my mom used to make me and it was good. The only thing that I would complain about is that it was a bit on the bland side and they don't give a hefty portion of kimchi to go along with the large portion sizes for the entrees.I would definitely come back here when back in the area!

I had been meaning on come back here for awhile. I love korean food but it's sort of hard to get on the west side as far as i know. I decided to stop by for dinner the other day and ordered the vegetable bibimbap and a kimchi stew with pork belly. The service is quick and it's clean and the staff is friendly. I really like the food but some more than others The vegetable bibimbap is awesome if I was around here more often I would easily be getting it for lunch at least once a week. The vegetables are cooked perfect and it's on a bed of the delicious purple rice and it's accompanied with kimchi, ssamjang sauce and a few other things. It's like the perfect light alternative to a salad for me. Can't wait to get it again. The kimchi stew is good. It's just for me it was a little heavy on the meat. I am sure tons of people love it cause it was season hood and it's an interesting take on the dish. A warning tho it is pretty spicy so be ready. I have had a bunch of kimchi jjigae all over LA and this one is a little different from most i have had but it's nice all in all i am happy i made it over there and will definitely be back again soon. That whole little strip mall has all kinds of slightly hidden gems in it and this is for sure one of them.
