The food was ok, and also our waitress was very nice. BUT: the waiter behind us was taking away the glasses from the table behind us, and poured the resting water from the glasses back into the bottle!!!! This is a NO GO!! UNHYGIENiC !!!!

I called just 3 days in advance to ask if they could accommodate a party of 32. Greg, the manager, was so easy to work with, the servers were fabulous, and the food was amazing!

The fare is EXTRAORDINARY! Sadly, the service was disappointing. 1. Stop greeting people in this way “Hey how we doin' GUYS”, “what can I get you GUYS”. “How's everything here GUYS”. It's rude, lazy & currently amazingly tone deaf. 2. Never brought several requests, rocks glass, pepper, martini was nowhere near dirty; manager brought me extra olive brine. Grateful. The greeter/host was lovely, accommodating and helpful. 3. (Dated, cheap) EDM blaring was annoying. We requested sexier music. Clearly not on the menu. The outdoor space is PERFECT for large parties or celebrations. The extraordinary food eclipses everything! We had beautiful ciabatta bread with olives & tomato tapenade, FRESH, abundant arugula; prosciutto, & parmigiano cheese! DELECTABLE. Tagliatelle with scrumptious pulled rib tips in an amazing sauce. Enjoyed, will be back.

Was one of the first to dine in here. Since it was technically their grand opening, prices were ridiculously low. Beers were five bucks. Pizza ten dollars and this black pasta noodle dish with the cream was also around ten.Osteria has a very spacious place. In a coveted on Wilshire in the heart of Santa monica -- near the promenade.Came here as a party of 3. The final bill was like 50$ and some change. Drinks. Dinner. That's really, really cheap for an upscale restaurant. Grand opening prices makes the experience justified.I ordered an artisan pizza -- CACIO E PEPE -- fresh mozzarella, ricotta crema, pecorino, grana padano & cracked black pepper.I also ordered some blackened noodle upscale mac 'n cheese. The cacio e pepe reminded me of a similar pizza at a place called Pizzana in Brentwood.A lighter 'white' pizza with three cheeses. Elevated by sprinkles of black pepper worked really well. The black noodle macaroni and cheese maybe was a trial item as I don't currently see that item anymore on their menu -- at least online.Rich, creamy, the noodles were appropriately tender. Love the black/white contrast. Never ate a black noodle macaroni and cheese, let alone a black noodle. The texture I found to be unique and definitely interesting.Definitely a solid spot worthy of consideration.

Didn’t dine in but picked up the order via Uber EatsWhat was orderedCacio e Pepe BOGO special which was amazing saving $21.00Casarecce alla Norcina which was okay I think it’s because it was cold by the time I got home.Friendly service via phone and during pick up and a beautiful ambience inside.

Had dinner here with my husband and our 1 year old. All the staff was friendly and accommodating! Food was excellent and they have a great happy hour. The hostess was decorating a tree and it was so welcoming and cozy! When leaving, we accidentally left an envelope at the table (it had our Santa pictures that we just had taken!) When we were about 3 blocks away, one of the employees caught up to us and returned the pictures. So nice and considerate of him to hustle after us! We’ll definitely be back :)

The first time I came was for Dine LA which was a great way to try out a few different items. I had the Ceasarina which was just okay with the Salsiccia, sausage ravioli, which was full of flavor and tasty. Dessert was bomboloni which came with two dipping sauces. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating and the place has a clean and modern feel. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and attentive, making sure to check in frequently. The next visit I came for Happy hour which is from 3-6 with cocktails for $9. I tried the Norma which was delicious. The rigatoni goes well with the garlic slices and eggplant pieces that melt in your mouth giving a lovely burst of flavor. There is street meter parking available near the restaurant or you can park in the structure across the street which is Free for the first 90 minutes.

Very nice and warm welcoming our server was friendly, fast and knowledgeable about every single item on the menu, food was great, the only issue was our siting!! not everyone can sit on the high chair, even I made reservations from few days before, our choice was to either sit on high chairs or against the wall they have more outdoor sitting than inside but I am sure will be fun when it's not cold...but we had fun

This was my second time there. First time was when they first opened (and had a much better experience). Unfortunately we weren't impressed with the food. We ordered a few things off the menu and the first item out was our pizza and the last was our tuna tartare (interesting order for plating the food). Service was ok, but at the end of the meal the server didn't even ask us if we wanted to see a dessert menu (which we did), so we ended up going elsewhere to enjoy that. No need to go again...

Updating my review because prior experiences were so great and just had one bad one due to hours not being updated on open table, Yelp, Google. Great food and service in a lovely open air restaurant.
