I'm Australian and we have Thai restaurants everywhere. But this place is the best Thai I've ever had!! Sweet family business that's been running for 22 years. Food is delicious and Poom (whose parents run the business) is an absolute sweetheart. We had the dumplings and panang curry. So flavourful!!

We have been going to this place for years. The food is great, the prices are good and the hours of operation are better than most in the area. Great vegan substitutes through the menu. It seems they will never open as a sit down restaurant again, which is fine. The service is honest and clear, so the wait times are really fair. The ambiance of all the plants taking over the space is really cathartic. We love Poom Thai!
Delicious food, this is great for take out, but not for eating inside. The ambience of their plants is very nice, e-bike you wait for your food. The food is good, but it will take a while, so I recommend ordering ahead. It usually takes about 45 minutes for your order to be ready.

They're also open pretty late night which is a huge plus because usually all you can find is junk food or tacos. A must try if you're in the Santa Monica area.

Excellent quality of dishes upon delivery too.We have been recommending POOM Thai to family and friends for years. Its a great choice for last minute company too, its always a huge hit. Our family really likes the Panang curry chicken, Pad-See-Eew noodles and the Tom Kha Kai soup. These dishes are terrific!
